  1. Hi Bill, I too had my band placed on 8/27. I use low or fat free cream soups, egg drop soup, yogurt, protein shakes. Costco has these protein drinks that have 30 gm of protein in them and they are really yummy if you like chocolate. On the 13th of sept. I will start my soft solids. I have pureed veg. soup and just added a bit more water so it isn't to thick. good luck, Cyndie
  2. My gas pain in my shoulder really bites, unfortunitly you just have to wait for it to go away. And walk alot it is from the co2 they gave you in surgery and it just takes the body time to reabsorb this. I had my band places on 8-27-09
  3. I am postop day 3 after my band and the only pain I have is where my port is. Does everyone experience the bloating (it is so uncomfortable) and the gas is awful. What does everyone else do if this happens to them. After I eat I just feel like I ate way to much, but on the other hand I am so weak and have no energy. Any suggestions from any one sure would be great. Thanks bizy:unsure:
