Hello Gorda,

I hit goal at 9 months and 1 week from surgery. Following that I got a slight unfill bc due to stress from my wedding that was coming up I was way too tight. On the honeymoon I did gain about 4.6 lbs - but in the week that I have been back I have lost all but 1.8 lbs. So I was freaked out about maintenance but I dont think it will be a problem- I just have to make sure to still eat healthy- and limit any desserts and unhealthy snacks to a minimum.

Also, tell me more about your journey-- when did you have surgery? how are you doing with it? have any questions? Also, what part of LA are you from-- I am from Louisiana but live in Texas now

Mardysbaby- well it looks like you are on your way to reaching goal--- just think- in 4 months you are more than half way to goal! Congrats! Thank you for the nice words!

Thanks for the kind words... that is very nice of you... feels good to hear that sometimes. I have done pretty well with the band-- I am very blessed that since surgery I have had restriction-- I didnt have to go thru "bandster hell".... I have just followed the rules on drinking while eating... and eating my protein... and just making healthy food decisions as far as nutrition. Don't get me wrong-- I do allow myself a couple of "favorite" meals each week- but bc I have restriction I dont go over my calories. If you need anything on your journey please don't hesitate to email me-- will be glad to help... I will tell you one thing that helped me alot -- is to log all my food and drinks in caloriecounters.... I have offically lost 89 lbs as of this morning-- and I have 17 more to go to reach my original goal -- but I am thinking i might go another 10... to 125.
