  1. Thank you for the nice message..I am down to 205 lbs. and feeling grrrreat. I took some photos on my phn this morning. I will put them on my album today.. Happy Holidays my friend!

  2. You are hysterical! I just read your reply the Milk and fruit thread. I was laughing my ass off! You crack me up....claws, lips, assholes! Good stuff!

  3. "I fluctuate 2-3 lbs/day gain" Am i reading this right? You are gaining this much weight daily??

Now that being said. What on a typical day are you eating? Maybe I can help you get on the right track here.

Also your doctor is full of shit, Restrcition is so real! And just so you know.. I didnt have significant weight loss until after fill No 3. So that is something for you to look forward to.

Try and keep your chin up kiddo. It is so possible to gain or not lose if your eating too many slider foods. I made some bad food choices over the memorial day weekend also.

BTW.. You are working out like a champ.. keep that up! DOnt stop. I need to start doing that.

  4. Hi.. Doc Juarez did my surgery. What about you?

  5. Just looked at your pics... you are already so pretty. This surgery will change your life! I am very happy for you!

Make sure to get the Gas-X strips before your surgery date and have them on hand. That to me was the worse part..post op. The Trapped gas hurts really bad. It may or may not happen to you.. but just in case. And make sure if it happens to take like 3 or 4 strips at a time.. Read the directions, on the box.. many people only take one thinking it will help, and the directions clearly tell you to take more. Try and walk up and down the halls at home after word.. it really helps!

  6. I just wanted to tell you that I look at your photo journey everyday! You inspire me. Your words stick with me, and because of you I got off my ass, and started walking... TWICE a day. On my lunch, now...30 min, and right when I get home. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! This web site is Fantastic.. Thanks

  7. You are so right! A positive attitude will carry you through this journey. Thanks for your kind words.

Don't cut your hair girl! LOL

  8. hey.. doing GREEEAT! Actually I am down 38 lbs woop woop!

  9. Thank you for sharing the photos. Wish that would have been an option for me. Did your doc, ask if you wanted photos? How did you make that happen?

I would have loved to have those photos during my surgery, to help explain the process. Great visuals.

  10. How are you feeling?

  11. Just dropping you a line! How are you doing?

  17. Hey there... I never saw this message until now..because you posted it on your page and not mine.. (its okay) I just wanted to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. By the way thanks for the pic comment. :-) I feel so good!

Doc.. Juarez phn number is 602-252-1510. Just call them and find out out when you can attend a seminar since that is your first step.

Doc Juarez's bed side manner is not the greatest. He is however open to any questions..or concerns. I honestly saw him 3 times only. At my pre-op appt, we discussed me having the surgery, he answered my questions, gave me advice, and told me I would be a good candidate for this surgery. Next time was in the hospital right before surgery. 3rd time, at my post op appt. Thats it!

Honestly, my relationship is more with the nurse and M/A at the office. Nurse Andrea, does all your fills, and the M/A schedules appts. They are both really awesome!

  18. My pain after the surgery wasn't bad really...What sucked was the pain from the "trapped gas" That lasted about 10days or so. It happens becasue they blow your stomach up before surgery so they can see for the surgery. The gas eventually works its way out.. (ha ha) You just have to get up and walk, and take gas-x strips.

I went back to work 1 week later, and yes I worked during the Liquid phase, but it wasnt hard, because I was eating creamy soups, jello, pudding, popsicles. Its not like your stuck with broth. :-)

    Hope this helps!

  19. hey there... I didn't start really losing until after my 3rd fill. So try not to worry too much. My doc will give me a fill anytime I want one, I know other docotors are different, but I dont understand that at all. They always ask me if I am feeling hungry between meals, and if I tell them yes, they do the fill. My weight loss wasnt great until I started the adjustments, dont let this get you down, the begining is the worst part. You are going to be fine, it just takes time and adjustments! Promise!

  20. I just cant get over how cute he is.. BTW you have to click on my photo then leave your comment on my page in order for me to see it. I love the doggie he is so incredibly cute.

  21. Checking In Wayno! Wondering how your surgery went? Hope you are okay.
