Ok SO NOW I went back and read the posts I see your situation has changed. Im glad your getting out ! I have to say my marraiage came ClOSE to ending on several occasions and im glad i stayed NOW but If his mom was still alive I cam promise you i would not be married ! Good luck ! Also I would suggest filing legal separation papers asap so that if anything is in his name from day one you have proof you were seperated and your credit is not ruined, he can be held legally responsible for it . I have not read all the replies but let me tell you about my experience. When I first met my husband he told me the most imporant person in his life was " his mom , his friends , THEN who ever he was dating" I laughed it off not paying much attention . My husbands mother had a terminal illness when we met, she came first, Holidays were ALWAYS with her , her feelings came first. We got married she tried to run my wedding even . We got along at first. Dh and I had a baby . When someone would say something like " Your baby sure is cute " My MIL would say things like ' Yeah WE Did a good job didnt we " she would tell peple DH married ME because her promised HER he would get married and have a baby before she died. We started to not get along, He ALWAYS took her side. Sort of like your situation it was always my fault , I was always the bitch ! Things got MUCH MUCH WORSE, I stopped going around her, i refused to be around her, i refused to let me kids around her. That caused SO many problems for my husband and I We almost split up after 3 yrs of marriage. Anyway , MIL Died 2 yrs ago ON My husbands birthday non the less, typical of her to ruin his birthday for the rest of his life. Our marriage did NOT get better until AFTER she died ! Im not kidding. If i knew NOW what I knew then I would NOT have married him because of his mom . His mom came first ALWAYS , even after we had kids she came first. Dont settle for second , get out while you can and BEFORE YOu have kids. TRUST ME after 8 yrs of marriage and 6 of them with my MIL around its NOT WORTH IT ! HTH Mindy

Again I do not belive in depriving myself. I eat those little Hersheys Stixs . I think each one has 60 calories. But I ONLY EAT ONE ! Ya cant have the whole box ! LOL thats the trick ! SO if I feel like chocholate that's what i eat. They have dark chocolate one's if you like dark chocolate , it would be a bit healthier for ya. HTH Mindy

I think poor nutrition in general can lead to hair loss but lack of protein is a big problem if I remeber correctly . Someone else can probably help more . Mindy

Congrats for doing the first one ! And I thought the same thing as well. The second time i did the run it was a little harder . But nothing like ' I cant do this " . I start week 2 tomorrow. was not feeling well today again . We are all passing something around our house i think. Mindy

OH I ASSURE You I answer quite a bit more than 2 posts a day to help others. I like to repay what the boards have helped me out when i got banded. My only point is that I think you should have said who you worked for. I dont personally care if others think i cant let it go. That's not my intention. When I asked the question about if coordinators got paid or not I really was curious. Maybe i shoudl have PMed you personally . I think you may be trying to help others , but unfortatly the people who have come before you who were not make it look bad for others. ya know ? I think you can understand that. Well im sorry to hear that. My mom and dads friends have kids who take and take and take, they move out and move back in . Well this yr for Christmas they told them " Your getting NOTHING " The kids were like WHAT ( They are grown) they were SHOCKED. The parents adopted a family in need and spent all the money on them . It was HILIRIOUS , the kids were PI$$ED ! I hope you get to see your son soon and I think i would maybe inform HIM your upset. HTH Mindy

As I appreciate it seems you have the best intrest at heart, I think this is the reason why patient coordinators are not allowed to post on here . Because TRUE intentions are so hard to know . Personally I think if someone is a patient and happens to work for a doctor yet comes on here and posts AS A PATIENT i dont have a problem with it. But i still feel you were trying to help , help as it maybe as part of your job, and i dont think this is the place for that . That's just my opinion . Now maybe doing it off list and PMing people is ok ? I dunno. But again , i think coming on here and saying " I can help you PM me here is my WORK # and my WORK email , and not disclosing you work for a baratric surgeon is shady . I think you did it because you know its against the rules . Just my input Mindy

My doc Dr Rincon see's patients banded in Mexico as well as other docs I belive. He is in San Antonio . I live in S Austin so it takes me about 45 mintues to get there. He requires certain things such as medical records and a few other things im not aware of. My fills are $125 for flouro and the fills them selves are $150 . He's a great doc. Click on my sig line for his website. You would have to give them a call to get all the info . SW Baratrics is about the only deal in Austin for now . I just think that it would be more affective and SEEM less shady if you disclosed up front that you work for doctors. call your job title what you want, but unless people know how things work on here they might not realize it. your intentions might be well intended. But dont you think it would be less likely to be perceived as sketchy if you just disclosed your job and get it over with ? There are so many people on here that ARE sketchy it makes it hard to weed out the good intended people from those who are not . Mindy

I was one of the smallest people in my seminar too . Also probably one of the youngest. At first I thought " maybe Im not big enough for this YET " then i thought " That's dumb , Im doing this so i do not get any bigger" But I remeber looking around thinking " maybe i would not qualify " because everyone else was bigger than me . But at the time i was 5'4 250 i carry my weight well according to everyone . So like others said dont worry what others think, they wont be thinking about you LOL ! Mindy

Thanks . I dont want to shave it . But eewws its yicky !! I started laser hair removal BEFORE surgery , bad idea. I should have waited until after surgery . So I think im going to start up again soon . I started it on my lip and chin. Im hoping the TT will get rid of most of it then i'll have the rest of it lasered LOL Mindy

Well see what happens when i get off my a$$ and do something ? I drop 2 lbs and get myself at over my half way mark !!! 60 lbs lost 55 to go !!! Going to try to do some light weights today ! Mindy
