  1. Kim, I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I think it is either people feel like they are a little sore or they are in terrible pain - nothing in between! Also, it seems women handle it better (maybe because we are used to monthly menstrual cramps). Either way, Good luck on Monday - I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
  2. My Surgery was the 6th and I went back to work on the 10th. I actually did a lot of work on the 7th (the day after my surgery). Honestly, I must have been the luckiest person alive because the night of my surgery I was walking around my house cleaning, I walked my 2 dogs, even did some laundry. The surgery felt like I had a little menstrual cramps. When my husband had the surgery, he was out for 2 weeks after. He kept asking me what the hell was wrong with me - how could I be running around the day after surgery. I can only say thank you G-d.

Hi,I just had my surgery last week and I have High Blood pressure & a fast pulse - mine was always 90 - 100 at rest. I went to go see a cardiologist because I wanted to be sure I was going to make it through the surgery. Most of the patients have other health issues like blood pressure, diabetes, fast pulse. What you want to make sure is that you are comfortable with what they are going to do - it is your body. I wanted to see a cardiologist because I wanted to make sure I was OK enough - they never requested it. Let me know if you have any questions that I can answer.
  4. I was banded by Dr. Kurian August 6, 2009 - she is the best. She was recommended by my endocrinologist. Any questions - feel free to ask.
  5. Aren't you having any shakes? They really helped me. Hang in there - the first few days are the worst. Also - drink a lot of calorie free stuff. The liquid fills you up as well. Debbie
