    Sadie's PS journey

So glad you're happy and it went well Sadie! Bye bye saggy girls, hello perky girls!

    I'm "practicing"

Totally! And you spend so little on food, going out has never been so affordable. I spend more on booze than food for sure. And I usually have a kids lunch bag with me & a takeaway container & ice brick, so I get to get 2 or 3 meals out of the one.

Yeah, beer is just too gassy. Champagne is o.k. if sipped very slowly, but I can't usually eat at the same time so I prefer still wine. Can't see why a bloody Mary would be a problem. Just remember, with so little food, you can get wasted quickly!
  7. Ditto, to all of the above. Everyone has very valid points & insight into this issue. I've talked about this in my blog if anyone's interested. I'm 7yrs post op & I've also talked about peoples behaviour after too. sndycnrd expresses well how I feel too. It's your life, your body, your decision. No one can know what it's like to be you. I'm sure your not incapable of making informed, educated decisions involving your life and your health. Don't let others ignorance or fears stall you on what your know is right. Best of luck
  8. So sorry to hear of your situation. I have nothing to offer in advice I'm afraid. I just wanted to wish you good luck, keep your chin up & hope the right answer comes to you. Best wishes, truly, from the heart.

    Sadie's PS journey

All the best Sadie. Am keen to hear updates. I've had a fair bit done; it's on my blog if your interested. My arse disappeared too at one stage! But the booty is back lol. Recover well, and fast sweetie.

    I'm "practicing"

I've written about this topic in my blog. You get used to it, you have to. I get up, have a coffee, then it's sip, sip, sip for as much as I can. Then a little to eat, then sip, sip, sip. I used to love to skull a glass of water, but not anymore. Oh, & illuminationlady, I drink with my meals. Usually Chardonnay! Cheers
  11. I probably burp less & smaller ones, but I have this weird 'gurgling' sound sometimes. Like air making its way up or down. When I roll over in bed, it happens every, single time, about 2 or 3 seconds after the roll. It's creepy. Hope my husband isn't creeped out by it! Not exactly a love call!
  12. LMAO. You sensitive new age guy. Try beer.
  13. Hi Pink Stella. Happy you found me too! My blog has been a bit neglected lately...it's been an incredibly busy time for me and my family lately. But I'm gonna post more and I'd love you to ask questions, cause that gives me inspiration to share. All the best. Gracie

    Down 100lbs

So, so, so happy for you. Stay well and happy, you deserve it.
  15. I weighed 273 lbs & got down to 127.87 lbs in about 16 months. That was 7 yrs ago. I sat at 132.28 for a long time & have slowly gone up to 154 lbs over time. I've been steady at that for months now. I'd like to get back down to 132 lbs, but need to up the exercising. I'm 41 and 5ft 6 and a half. The lapband has changed my life for the better. When my efforts failed me, it saved me. Good luck.
