  1. Did my 5k(my 1st 5K) this past weekend.. Went good other than I fell/tripped with about .10 miles to go :biggrin: got a pretty bad case of road rash and a bruised hip/quad. But I finished in 37 mins.. about a 12 min pace.. Its a starting point.. I feel like i lost at least 2 mins on the fall, it took me a few seconds to get up and i never regained my pace.. This race was 1/2 street and 1/2 cross country though an awesome park

    Running another 5k this coming weekend and then I will be running/jogging heheh a 10k at the end of the month then I think its time to just maintain

  3. I am so excited to finally be in Onderland as of this morning. I didn't make the July 4th challenge, but I feel pretty confident that I will make the Labor Day challenge. I have 4.5 lbs. to go and I get a fill next Monday. Finally...I was stuck for over 2 weeks, but I have been working by butt off, literally in the gym. Good luck, everybody.:)

  4. Hiya fellow runners.. Just read all the posts. :lol:

    I started running in June, was going to do c25k but i felt it was too easy for me at the beginning, always was a big girl but worked out, and i have been doing running intervals for years.. So I started by running 1.5miles then walked for 1.5 and little by little I am now up to 4 miles with no walking.. Once in a while i have to stop maybe once out of 10 runs or something..

    I am doing my first 5k this coming weekend.. I signed up for a 10k too at the end of Sept but sure i am ready for that much but they said i could change to 5k as late as the day before. I have always wanted to run a 1/2 marathon, its on my bucket list (i am only 27 heheh) but I would really have to do one next year around this time, but lot of running programs for half marathons say you should be a runner for more then a year before starting the program.

    Total Eaten = 1832 :cursing:

    Total Burned= 4520, walked 30 mins and 30mins of weight lifting..

    Bad day.. Had a visit with my Dr today, he praised me for losing 14lbs in 6 weeks and then i ruin it with this day.

    But the good thing is, that after i ate the waffle fries and cookie dough bites I wanted to say Screw it and have a food fest but i didnt. So i am happy with that..

    tomorrow is a new day..

    Burned as of 9pm = 4361 calories.. ran 3 miles today, walked at lunch

    Still hungry but i am going to try not to eat.. was hoping for under 1400 cal today :wink2:. I am sure i wont die from going to bed hungry..


  7. Yesterdays food.. It was a hard day cause I work as a Paramedic and i ran my butt off yesterday..

    1. Wendys susauge/egg burritto, 330 cal 14.8 pro

    Total Eaten= 1587 cal 66 pro :)

    Total Burned= 3934 no exercise but alot of running around.

    Mountain dew was my weakness before surgery and I was on a fire scene as EMS standby for 4 hours without food. my blood sugar was dropping and that was all i could find.. bad choice but i could have been worse..

    Exercise= walked 15 mins during my lunch break and 20 mins bike when i got home
