    Lost Port! HELP!

I have had all of my fills done under xray as well because when I went in for my first fill he attempted to find it, poked me 3 times and told me to come back and we would try under xray. It should be fine, I've never had any problems since he has been doing them under xray! Don't worry too much, it's normal! Hope that helps!
  5. I just got my 4th fill yesterday morning, I'm not sure how many cc's I have in me now but I hadn't had a fill for almost a year after my 3rd fill. I am not able to keep anything down. I have tried just little sips of water and even tried just ice chips like they had given me after surgery. If I take only a few sips it all seems to come back up. I'm not sure if I should call and schedule an un-fill or just wait it out a little longer. After each fill I have always had a problem with most things but usually if I drink just a little water I can keep it down, but I have also noticed I'm have sinus drainage lately and wondering if that's what is causing the problem or if I'm just filled too tight?
  6. Okay thanks I think I will try that! you tried that right after surgery? Would they be considered a clear liquid?
  7. They told me clear liquids for one week, and then i can move to full liquids for another 2 weeks. Thanks!
  8. I need some ideas for protein shakes. I'm not sure if i can use stuff like peanut butter to mix in with my protein powder and milk? or does it all have to be clear liquids for the first week out of surgery. I need some recipe ideas please! I can't stand just milk and vanilla protein powder which is what I have. Anyone have any ideas please!!!
  9. I had surgery on July 28th 2009, just 2 days ago. I am 20 years old and have been very over weight all my life. After going through diet after diet, nothing was working. I watched a couple of my friends go through the gastric bypass and my roommate had the realize band surgery. after seeing their progress I decided I needed to make a decision. There were so many things I liked about both but the fact of having something that couldn't be reversed scared me. Even though I know I will probably never have the band removed, if something were to go wrong I would want the option to have it taken off. So far things are going good, although I'm not sure what I can and cannot have. Good luck to you all!
