Hi everyone! I was just banded on December 29th, 2009 and I'm makin it through the pain! Still hurting from all the gas they inflated my stomach with but I'm making it! Everyone is such a huge encouragement to me and I'm so excited!!!!

Yes my mints are definitely sugar free and they are very strong so I love them!!

I was told by my surgeon that chewing gum is not a problem but if you accidentally swallow it then they will have to surgically remove it so I got addicted to mints!!

I wanted to say that all of you guys that have had your surgeries are great inspiration to me!! I am just now starting my pre op stuff and I'm so excited!! I'm from Charlotte, NC and I'm 21.
