  1. You're already eating steak??? I'm supposed to do liquids week 1 and add cream soups week 2...
  2. Texarkana here. Band removed and sleeve performed by Dr. Frenzel 6/12/15.
  3. I'm late to the party. I'm from Texarkana but drove to Dallas and had my band removed and sleeve performed by Dr. Frenzel 6/12/15. I'm really sore where the port was but its getting better and I don't have that burning sensation when getting up now. Liquids at 1st were really hard for me to get in, I'm prone to dehydration and have ended up in the hospital more than once because of it so I'm determined to stay hydrated, not to mention how awful it makes you feel. I have sharp pains off and on in between my breast, I'm assuming that's just everything messed with getting readjusted. My incisions are starting to itch but I'm dreading these staples being pulled out.
  4. I just had my band to sleeve June 12th.
  5. Are yall feeling the pain like in your chest? Every time I take a drink I get a tight feeling in my chest and it'll do it a few times then it's gone till I sip again. I had band removed and sleeved 6/12/15.
  6. I'm not hurting as bad as I was afraid of but it does hurt. The area where the port was is very painful.
  7. Out of surgery.. I'm very sore where the port was. A little nauseated and sipping on water/ice chips hurts right between my breast.
  8. I'm in the preop area waiting on my surgery with Dr. Frenzel
  9. Thank you... Nervous... Really nervous!!! I think going from band to sleeve at once is what's got my nerves worked up lol
  10. Tomorrow my band will come out and I'll get my sleeve! I feel like I could eat a horse right now. This no solids for 24 hours ain't no joke ???? I'm so afraid I'm going to be miserable next week only doing liquids...
  11. Thanks everyone!!! Dream how long did you have your band? I've heard nothing but good things about Dr. Frenzel.
  12. My band has been in since 2009. I am hoping it can all be done at once but I of course want him to do what's best. I'm just so nervous and reading has me a little freaked out...
  13. I'm scheduled to have band removed and revised to sleeve June 12th and I'm going through all these different feelings. Excited. Nervous. Ready. Not ready. Is this normal??? Dr. Clayton Frenzel is my surgeon.
  14. Did you have band to sleeve in one procedure?
  15. Next week!!!! Eeeeekkkk it's getting close!! This preop diet is harder than I thought...
  16. How long had you had your band?
  17. I'm scheduled for my sleeve next week???????????? I still have my band but have no fluid and the struggle is no joke!!! I have gained quite a bit in the last month too...
  18. Thank you!!! I know their office recently went through a remodel and I had to wait a few days for them to get some of my stuff together. Several people I know have used Dr. Frenzel and have all really said great things about him. He's the only dr I've seen regarding a sleeve so I have nothing to compare him to. Good luck with your decision
  19. I can feel my port. I can't lay on my side bc of the port. Certain clothes (jeans) push into my port area when sitting and I have a almost constant burning feeling. I am getting my band removed and sleeve surgery performed the 12th.
