  1. I am 282 lbs. 5"7', scheduled surgery in one week! I will meet with the doctor in three days, so I still don't have specific instructions of liquid diet or what I have to do before surgery. But anyway I want to start already, but I am confused about what kind of liquids will be able to drink, what brand of protein shake are the best I have started to read some blogs and I've seen brands that I am nothing familiar with, and actually don't know which one is the best, -- more protein, less sugar, best taste, etc..-- , Does anyone have a suggestion?
     
    I am so excited but scared at the same time, it all happened so fast! the insurance approved in 4 days after submitting everything !! now that I know is for real and have an actual date for surgery, I want to read read read and learn all what I can to make this a sucess... I am new to this website and I hope I can find the support and information to make it happen.
     
    Today is the first day of the rest of my life...
