Hi all! I'm from Orange county, anaheim to be exact. Banded aug 12, 2009 starting wt at 245 and a year later down to 120 and feeling great!! Met my goal within a year after being banded! Best decision I've ever made! Good luck to everyone!!

I'm still waiting for the insurance to see if they'll approve the lap band surgery. According to the weightloss center in Beverly Hills, Ca they said that i have a good insurance and that it should cover everything...finished my endoscopy procedure on July 20th and the nurses said that the only thing now is to wait for the nutritionist and the psychotherapist to put in the paper work, but til now nothing yet. Been calling the surgery center but all i get is the runaround. How long does it really take for the insurance to approve the surgery!!???
