Does anyone know what causes you to need a fill 2 or 3 weeks after the last one? What happens to the fluid, does it leak out? I don't understand why you need another so soon, especially since they are so expensive. Is it caused from eating too large a meal or what? I would just like to know. Anniemay

Surgery This Friday - Getting Scared

I was scared too and I went to Mexico without my husband but the hospital was run by Baylor Med. in Houston, everything turned out fine. They monitor your heart and everything and you are only out an hour. I was reading about a study they did and out of about 700 patients they didn't lose any to surgery and only had less than 2% problems afterwards up to a year so thats pretty good! Don't be scared its really safe and stay on liquids before surgery, it will keep your liver was swelling and getting in the way by that I mean some foods will make your liver swell a little, it just makes it easier on the doctors. They also have several drs. in there that specialize in different fields working with your dr. Hang in there and God bless! -
What in the world could have caused this?

I just got back from Monterrey and I used Dr.Zapata, he is Dr. Sanchez's backup doctor. I like him a lot, he is very nice and not arrogant at all like American doctors. He takes his time with you, visits at the motel room and listens to everything you say and answers all your questions. I can't say enough good about him and also gives you a list of drs. who will do fills in the U.S. how rare is that? Anniemay -

Gosh, I hate all the things that go along with being overweight, the whole mess but you know what I hate most is stupid comments, like " oh do you know how pretty you would be if you lost weight". I want to say " do you know how smart you could be if you had a brain"! Hey, I loved your "redneck blender", I'm a bit of a redneck myself!! -

I have tried 2 others but I am a light sleeper and don't like things on my face or head, I'm gonna try again tonight. This is one of the main reasons I am getting the surgery. My Dad had sleep apnea, so does my brother and sister so surgery may not help, but funny thing, I received a letter from the dentist saying they now make mouth pieces to relieve sleep apnea, the cost is $240, if weightloss doesn't help I will look into it. Don't know which came first, sleep apnea or huge weight gain, it all happened around the same time. Take Care and pray for me on the 7th of Aug. ...........Anniemay -

Bettina, My problem is when I wear the mask, I simply cannot go to sleep unless I take anti anxiety medicine and then I feel lousy in the morning, I can sleep just not as good. I don't know what I am going to do though not much time left and I tried again last night to wear it and pull it off. I hate the thing you can't sleep on your side cause air escapes around the mask. -

I know, I struggled with South Beach diet for 9 mos. and only lost about 20 lbs.......so disgusting because you need to weightloss to keep you going, since I have gotten older I simply cannot lose much weight at all and I don't have the energy to run like Oprah!!! -
Thanks, You Too!

I am using Dr. Miguel Zapata, he is the Dr. who is taking over some of Dr. Sanchez's patients because he only does surgeries about 2 days a week now.
