I have been thinking about weight loss surgery for a long time. I went to a seminar on July 11 and have a consultation with the doctor on July 28. I have been tested for sleep apnea, which I have. I also have arthritis in my hip and my knees. My hip is to the point that I need a hip replacement. The doctor will not do a hip replacement until I lose weight and that is what finally made my mind up about having weight loss surgery.
