  1. I understand what you are going through. I have been at a stand still for almost a year. I keep losing a few pounds and gaining those pounds back. I need a buddy also!!!!

I just had my surgery on Thursday, Oct. 22nd. I am sooo proud of myself. I am a little gassy, but otherwise I am ok. I had to do the liquid diet for 16 days before my surgery, so I am ok about the next two weeks of liquid. You will be fine!!! We have to keep in mind that this surgery is for our health! We made this decision because we love ourselves and our families! It is so worth it! I would do it all over again! Good luck!

I just had my surgery on Thursday, Oct. 22nd. I feel great! I am little gassy, but my incisions don't hurt much. I am returning to work on Monday. I am a teacher and don't have to lift anything. Don't be nervous because it is truly worth it. I am beginning to look at Oct. 22nd as my new birthday!!!! Please keep in touch and I hope everything goes well!!!

That will be a good start. Do you feel any resistance when you eat? When did you have your first fill? I really think that exercise will help. I just had my surgery Thursday, Oct. 22. My doctor made me start a liquid diet 16 days before surgery and I lost 11 1/2 pounds. Now that I have had the surgery, I have lost 2 1/2 more pounds in 3 days. I think that protein, smaller meal sizes, and exercise is the key. Don't give up! We are all here to help each other!
