  1. I have spoke to the insurance co. and that is what they tell me, that i will owe 50%. I am hoping after everything is sent for approval that i will wind up not owing as much.
  2. CONGRATS! i have a 6 month old too! I think if i were you i'd use a pump and express enough before surgery and pump after. I unfourtunately can no longer produce milk after two stomach viruses and the meds that were prescribed. Good luck!
  3. I was wondering if your ins. told anyone that they had to pay 50% of the cost of surgery and if so how much did it wind up being. I have BC/BS of AL and I have 3 comorbidities: pseudotumor cerebri, high cholesterol, and diabetes type 2, (and may have sleep apnea). I hope they see that i NEED this surgery and don't make me pay like $10,000.
  4. I have BC/BS. knowing what little i do, (u'rs is different from mine) but I think that you need a 7 month consecutive diet that is verified monthly by a doc. they say 6, but for some reason the 1st month doesn't count. I hope this helps. I am lucky as my group # doesn't require the diet, but they say i have to pay 50% of the surgery. Did they tell you that too?
  5. I am in the banding process. Still have some things left to do. I am hopeful to get the band in Sept. Crossed fingers!
