    I have yet to get my surgery. However, I know you can do it. I think maybe you should try some type of distraction. Get a good book, or take a walk. Something like that. I hope it helps. It isn't much, but I hope it gives you some time of encouragement. God Bless, Jeanie

    Hello everyone! I am currently waiting for my surgery date. I am going to have my lap band surgery on 8/28/06 and am a little nervous. I have to fly to Mexico to get it and am wondering if anyone else here has had the surgery done there? My insurance will not cover it here in the US. That sucks!:think
