  1. Hi, I was banded just about two years ago - due to complications, I had to have the band repositioned about a nine monthes ago - every since then I have been on a major plato - I know it is my fault. I am in the "green zone" as far as my fills are conserned - I just can't seem to get it together. How do I get my self back on track without beeting my self up every step of the way - I should be at goal by now  and I know it, I guess that is the hardest part - Any advise, support, guidance, words of wisdom, you name it is appreciated.
  2. Thank You for your response. Yes I have a 4cc capacity band. Maybe 2.5cc was a bit much for the first fill. I will be working on the Chew, Chew, Chewing. Any suggestions after Pbing, do I do liqueds for 24hrs, then mushies, then regular food. Or does it matter?
  3. Hello, I think I may be doing something wrong. I was banded on 28 Aug o6. First fill on 17 Oct. 06 (2.5cc total fill). I think I may be PBing a little to often. I seem to PB at least twice a week. I know I don't eat as slow as I should. I am working on that. Chew, Chew, Chew. I am also working on sipping instead of chugging my drinks. What am I missing? Or am I just not working hard enough? Any suggestions are appreciated. K.
  4. Hello All, I am newly banded. So far things have been going great, unless you count me throwing up just now. And now of course I am a little nervouse. Since I know this is a no-no. Not to be to gross, but the throw up was more like a big burp and the gatorade I drank just came right up. So the question of the day, did I damage anything. Any words of wisdom are appreciated.
  5. Thank You all for the replies - I will sleep a little better tonight. It is nice to know that I am not alone out here in what I am going through. I look forward to hearing from you and being inspired by you all.
  6. Well my surgery is set - has been for over a month now - I have gone through a serious of emotions from nervous to excited. Now I feel apathetic about the entire processes. My surgery is still a month away. I am doing all the expected things. Making sure I have all my duckes in a row. But, still nothing. What's wrong with me. I want this, I need this! Why am I not feeling more about it. Will the excitment come back as I get closer? Will the apathey continue to the surgery date? Is this good or bad? Not a lot ruffles my feathers, so maybe this is the norm for me. Any way, I would be interested if anyone else has felt this way in their journey. Thanks
  7. I have too have Tri Care Prime - I am going the selfpay route. I fly to Mexico on the 27th of August 2006.
