  1. hey Joanie, I don't see you too much in the chat room, how is it going? The last time I talked to you, you were feeling better about things including your support group. Hope it still is that way.

  2. Hi, I am doing fine, no pain just sore. I stayed in hosptial 1 day longer really just to appease hubby as he is such a worry wart. I can tell the difference even though there is swelling.

The surgery took off 7 lbs.

  3. tzn, I just read your message from July 28th. I am not too good with computers and didn't even know you could do this until I just got a private message today. To keep you updated I have now lost 125 lbs and am at goal. I had to be rebanded on Oct.29th due to a slippage. No problems with that but I have to start over with the liquids, pureed foods etc just like I have never been banded. I get the "1st" fill in another 3 to 4 weeks. Other than the post op diet, I can't tell any differences except I can get hungry which is kind of a new thing for me but it hasn't been hard. Sorry, I didn't get back to you sooner.

  4. Thanks, I didn't know you can post vistor's messages. Just run into it because I had a private message. I'm not too good with computers. I had a message all the way back in July that I just found out I had. It was good talking to you.

  5. Hi everyone. I was banded 22 months ago. I've never had any problems, well except once when the surgeon got pretty agressive with a fill and I had to have some taken out (which was my fault as I asked him to do it). I've lost 105 lbs and going for another 20. One thing that I know, it is important to have your coordinator's support. I meet with mine one to one every week. I have not been on this site before but I can tell that it is a useful tool in itself.
