My preop diet is not so bad. A lot of Soups, shakes, cottage cheese, high Protein stuff, etc. When I have a day off and not doing as much, the diet is tolerable. However when Im working, I just feel so drained. I esentially eat Protein Bars between patients. You're right, maybe it will just take getting use to...the calories are significantly less than what I'm used to.
