  2. thanks! i was a little embarassed to put it up because they are pretty personal, but i thought about how i used other people's progress photos as motivation and hoped mine might help someone, too.

  3. weighing yourself too often can be hard because you are always changing. i'm glad things are going well so far!! the pain will go away and you'll get used to the feeling of getting fills. it can feel weird sometimes haha.

  5. hahah thanks! don't get discouraged. i started working out in small amounts - walking, riding a bike, jumping around the house... a really fun way to get your exercise in is to go out to a park and kick a ball around with friends or throw a football. it's like being a kid again!

  7. thanks lacasst! i'm glad someone can really notice because i sometimes feel like no one does.

    at the beginning of april i joined and gym and i try to go at least 3 times a week. that has really helped me lose weight, and it makes me feel better after i go. i usually only do 30 minutes.

    also, i've got a big sweet tooth, so i've got to find ways to avoid eating cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. and i've found that the low carb ice cream is not that bad and can really satisfy. keep up the great work!

  8. Hi! Things are going okay... losing VERY slowly. I'm scheduled to have my 2nd fill Oct. 1 so I'm looking forward to feeling some restriction. Right now I can eat and eat and eat!! How are things going for you!?

  9. I'm doing okay! I'm glad you've set your date!! Are you on any post-op diet? I am scheduled to have my 2nd fill on Oct. 1 and am hoping I will notice some restriction. Right now I feel like I can eat and eat and eat!

  11. Hello!! I am doing great... and was banded on 8/4/09, also!! My first fill is on Sept. 4 and I'm so excited. How are things for you?

  12. doing great so far... but really hungry! I get my first fill Sept. 1 and am looking forward to feeling full again. I feel like I could eat a whole buffet I'm so hungry right now. hahaha.

  13. Excercises aren't terrible, I just try to walk 20-30 minutes during my lunch break at work. The swelling and pain is all gone now... but I'm SO hungry!! I go Tues for my first check up so hopefully then they say I can eat normal foods again.
