  2. Hi everyone!! I am almost 6 years out and have gained back most of my weight. I have made an appointment with my doctor but isn't for another couple weeks. Has anyone gone back to liquid diet? Need help!! Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm also 4 years out and having a hard time. I know what you mean about no overweight people around you. It's hard when you see them enjoying the things you used to and they stay small. But I'm trying hard. Just got another fill the other day and ready to give it another go! Don't give up. Just need to remember what your reasons were to do this in the first place!
  4. I was successful and did really good the first couple years. I guess I went back to my old eating habits. Started dating someone who loved to cook and go out to eat so we would eat together... A lot! For a while my band was to tight so I was getting sick a lot and felt like I wasn't eating enough or getting enough nutrients and always had heart burn. Then I had all my fluid removed and kept it like that for to long and went back to old eating habits. That's how I gain it back
  5. I am 4 years out from my band and have been really struggling. I have gained back about 30lbs. I'm trying hard to get back on track but just need some help. I'm having trouble figuring out how many calories I need to eat and when I need to eat. I still have it in my head that I need to eat at certain times and not necessarily when I'm actually hungry. Does anyone have any tips for me? Thanks!!
  6. I am a respiratory therapist and work night shift also, I don't have a problem switching from day shift to night shift. I just eat when I am hungry and when I have a free second. I had surgery on April 13th and I have not had my first fill yet. What time do you wake up when you are off work? I try to function as a day shifter on my days off. I usually have a light Breakfast, bigger lunch, then a light dinner with some yogurt, cheese or Peanut Butter in between for a snack.
  7. I put cottage cheese in the blender and ate it with tomato soup. Sounds gross but it is so good. I also blended black beans and salsa then added fat free sour cream. It was really good.
  8. I was banded on the 13th of April and I have the same thing. It's usually just a sharp pain then after a couple of minutes goes away. It is getting better though. It's like now that I am trying not to drop anything so I don't have to bend over, I drop everything!! But let me know what the doctor says if you call. Good Luck!!
  9. I am being banded by Dr. Northup on April 13th. I see that you had your surgery already!!! Congrats!! How are you feeling? How did everything go?
  10. I have my surgery on April 13th!! But I hate ham so I'm not really that upset about not being able to eat at Easter!! Good luck to everyone!!
  11. My date is April 13th!! So excited to start a new journey of my life!!
