Hi! Everything is going great for me. I was banded August 13th, and I'm a sophomore in college. I'm down 50 lbs, as of today. It's not too bad being in college with the band. My only problem is that I'm still living in a dorm this year so I'm on a meal plan and the food in the cafeteria isn't that great. I have fallen off the bandwagon a few times with eating the wrong foods but all in all I'm doing great.

Aw dang, I hate it when plans fall through. I slept in so late today so I wont be tired for awhile. I'll try to have some fun! Hopefully the chat will be back up soon. I miss my daily fix, lol.

Oh I've had my fair share of ex friends that needed to go away. College for me is the place to make new ones. I enjoyed the fall weather while walking to the library today, lol. I'm here for at least another 3 hours so maybe I'll do something fun tonight if my brain isn't fried. How about yourself?

Good, it sounds like this place is going to be the right one for you. My weekend is going good, very boring. I have so much homework to do before I leave to go see my parents for Thanksgiving break. This 8 page paper is not writing itself like I had hoped it would, lol. How is your weekend so far?

Oh honey! Sounds like you had an eventful day with the consult. Hopefully things will look up from here on out, and the next surgeon you find will be the perfect surgeon for you. One thing that I really liked about Dr. Gazaryli was that he had the lapband put in sometime in 2004 so he knew exactly what was going on, and could speak from his own experience. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next surgeon is the one for you

Alright sounds good. I am actually a vegetarian, but I do enjoy soy protein meats so I'll definitely fill up with the fake meat first, lol. Thanks for the info

Congrats! I can't wait to get to the point where you're at. I was banded August 13th, so I'm 3 months post op as of today. It's still so new to me, so I'm learning how to deal with the challenges. Especially with being a college kid living in the dorms, the cafeteria food sucks. Any words of advice?
