I was in for a consult with them and one of the staff member s told me about your story of getting them done together on V-day. Of course he didnt give names or details about either of you but im glad i found you guys My boy friend went in with me originally we we're both going to get it done! Yeah that would suck! Go through all of this and have " turkey neck" I am not banded but am meeting with my Dr. in the morning to get the testing set up. i am worried about extra skin because im 285 and they want me down to 140!!! Hey there my name is Kristy im 26 and have BMI of 40.5%. i've always been over weight. My concern is that it won't work for me Even though the success to fail ratio is gnarly. I have a few questions like...... how bad does it suck not eating food for 2 weeks? and how often do bands slip??? most of my questions can be answered by my dr. im sure. I guess im just scared :redface: im having to finance 19,000 and am woried it won't work. Side note is there anyway to change my username? lol

Thank you for all your reply's. i feel ready to make the change in my life but... i am always really committed in the beginning.. then i fall back and gain more than i lost I don't have insurance either but my Dr. is working with me to lower the testing cost im going to the weight loss center of AZ or somthing like that. My bf (who loves doing my research) says they are one of the top places in the country to get this don at. I am excited but nervous. i meet with the dr. again tomorrow
