Good morning everyone! Pat ~ Personally I like grits wayyy more then cream of wheat. They have to be prepaired the right way too, otherwise people tend to not like them. Of course with me, mine end up with butter/salt/bacon inside them...LOL...Thank you for your kind comments, I hope one day I am a sexy RDA making decent $$ so I can afford to finally move into a house, and out of my condo. My daughter is only getting bigger and I know how much fun it is having a backyard to play in, and your own room! Right now we share one, plus I am not in the school zone I want her in, and yes shes only 3, but I do tend to plan ahead lol. I read your post and thought holy crap, I forgot I haven't bought ANY FOOD for after Weds!! All I have are the vitamins, and MOM. I am going to Safeway Monday for sure! We are now band buddies...you ready!? Lee ~ I haven't slept in a while. I am a VERY paranoid person, and I think ALOT before I fall asleep. I have been dreaming about the surgery, I imagine me waking up after, I think of bad things happening as well. So let's just say the sleeping has not been well. I finally took a nap yesterday and that helped. I am going to sign up on the Obesityhelp you mentioned in a few. I am VERY OBSESSED with my surgery. I talk about it ALL THE TIME, I remind people my count down, I weigh myself more then 3 times a day. It's pretty bad actually...lol... Nicollie ~ Where are you my new BFF?! I went out last night for my other BFF (LOL) first night out since having her baby, we went to Dan's in Walnut Creek....let's just say I was brought back to highschool with the drama, and one of the girls with us slapped a guy who wouldn't get away from us with his cigerette....as soon as he called her a bit**, my bf Ron (He's 6'8, 400 lbs) was right there in the guys face.....it was horrible. I just stood back and watched and thought wow...So needless to say I was home by midnight. *sigh*. I had 4 glasses of water while there, and one sip of an ale my friend ordered. Looked on the news and we have 9 days of raining coming...YAY!!!! I am so excited, not only am I having surgery on my bf's bday, now it's going to be raining too!! I can't have any better luck then this LOL. I won't be coming today, but take lots of pictures, I will miss you all!!!!

Do you guys ever look at peoples progress photos and wonder if their doing better with the band then kaiser people because they didnt have to loose 20, 30+ before?? I was just looking and these people are rocking it, saying "down 30" etc. and I wonder if its better having the band, not loosing and loosing weight AFTER??

thats what I figured. School started already, I have to wait till the Spring but that's okay, I need to do Weds first :thumbup:

What a PRETTY CAT!!!! Calico? I understand paying the $$, I did it for my cat who ended up passing from Cancer. He was almost 15 at the time, so we had him a long time. They end up feeling like kids! My bestfriend is having a bar night, as her first night out since having a baby. I was going to get my drink on but screw it, I am not gaining weight before Weds, this is more important. I will drink water!!

Well Ash, I think that sounds best. Sometimes other stuff comes first, Family always. I am going to go back to school after being out what 11 years? But I need a career to support myself and baby! I wish you good luck with your daycare, it takes patience and special people to open their home for that!!!!

oh and I am sooo thankful for my last job - I called to check my surgery copay and it's $10!! whoo hoo!! My previous job I had for 7 years (Longs Drugs Corp. Office) my copay was $400....so happy I had switched jobs!

My scale said 252 flat today....Kaiser's is usually 1-2 lbs lighter then mine, but I am going to follow mine until Weds and assume I am up. Gonna bust my but till Weds Am. Baby is still sick over here, I may have to just go in to Kaiser and see her Dr. urgh!! She NEVER gets sick and now that she finally has, it's taking a toll on us. TGIF!!!!!

darn! Okay I will pop 1 nail off just in case, and remove the white off my tips....their air brushed, but I don't want to take a chance and they tell me no. I hate breaking them off it hurts so much but if thats all I have to worry about I am in good shape LOL. I filled out the Health Care Directive kit and it scared me. I hate death, and even thinking about it, so I filed it out really fast and put it away....*sigh* Having a good day, stomach alil upset from last nights binge....I made arrangements for my mom to take my baby Tues night until Thursday, she is taking the time off work for me, but I am going to pay her. She needs the income. Mo - how did you handle having a baby during? I am worried because Brianna tends to come in bed with me and she kicks, lays over me, etc. all night long. Also she is so rough, climbing on me, etc. She's not going to understand me telling her no..... So thats me today. LOL

John - I had a one on one pre op/nut class basically. I still had to sit and listen to all the stuff and info but a weird wired lady did it...LOL! U will still be rocking the same time as me for sure!!! SAT right now is up in the air for me, I really want to see you all before I do this, but the baby is still SICK!! she is sooo conjested, its horrible ;( but I will see!! Nicollie where are you =(

oh and no I didn't see Baggs. I will see him the morning of Surgery I guess, and I have a follow up appt. with him in March

LOL Candra you made me CRACK UP!! Walking labs with Starbucks!! That's like me, my friends all say I am super white with my "like, dude, etc" wording. I blame it on Martinez!!!! :thumbup: my mom raised me, sheesh!! :biggrin: hehehehe!! Okay so Liz basically noted that this site tends to teach you ways to get around eating things you arent suppose too. She mentioned using protien shakes as meals and she doesn't like that. She also mentioned a while back this site was big on the "we arent like gastric" people, but in reality we all need to follow the same guidlines...just stuff like that, nothing bad. She said in the long run things I read here can be sabotoging, and leave the site if that happens.

I will be banded January 20th. They had me on a 1200 cal diet and I have lost 35 lbs pre band....my goal is 165. Good luck to us all!!!!

So I just got my date finally and it's January 20th which happens to be my boyfriends bday!!! I hope thats a good sign....LOL... Anyone else? Are you scared? Ready?
