Okay here is my story!! I got there super early, so Bev had me fill out some papers, etc. and Liz called me back aroun 8:30. My appointment lasted about 45 mins with her, we talked, went over the quiz, and she told me different stories about other patients. We talked about this site (I won't say on here what she said lol) but yeah!! So she finally tells me let's get you a date....how is 2/17? I said thats perfect (I thought of you John!!) and then she stopped and said....hey, how would you feel about something sooner? I said sure, like when?? she said...umm NEXT WEEK. I was like OMG OK!! Then she told me she had a patient coming in that she had discussed that day with already but the girl wasn't sure if she wanted it. So Liz told me to hang out, and wait for the other girl, and if she turned it down it was mine. So my bf and I hung around, talking to the ladies in Bariactrics (they are SOOO FUNNY!!) then finally the girl came in, and met with Liz. About 10 mins later Liz called me back in and said what are you doing today? I said nothing why? She said well, 1/20 is yours so lets get your labs, meeting with Robin, a physical, and a quick class done RIGHT NOW!! I was like OMG!! SO I spent the morning running back and forth between departments doing all of this!!!! I met with a lady in Surgery who basically did the info class I woulda had to of taken really quick, and my meeting with Robin was about 30 mins or so. Soooo thats it!! They told me start the vitamins asap, and the physical check dr gave me a prescription for some pills I take the night before and morning of the surgery for upset stomach. I cannot believe how fast its all happening, but its going!!!!!!!!!

haha Ashley that's my bf's bday too! That's why I figured it was a special day!!

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well...Long Long story short? MY SURGERY IS NEXT WEDS., JAN 20th!!!! I will come back on later to tell the story :thumbup:

Morning everyone!!! Sitting here waiting for Liz I am early. I weighed in at 250.1 yay!!! So I'm down .3 from monday. I was soooo nervous waiting for it to say my weight my heart was pounding out my chest lol. Here goes nothing!!

YAY JOHN!!! That's awesome, 2/17 here you come!! Who is your surgeon?? I am getting my date tomorrow, so hearing you get that day I am sure mine will be right there! Ash I am sorry to hear that. I don't know what to say, but if it was me, $3000 is alot, and I would stop the trip now. I would continue to diet and excersize alone

I wont' be coming Saturday but I will miss you all! take pics so we can see! Breakfast - 1 Vent Skinny Latte (Decaf) Lunch - Home made stir fry (I thru stew meat, asparagas, cabbage, onions, and broccoli in a pan and cooked it up) Dinner - Will be 1 Atkins Shake Working on my water now!!!!!

I am drinking it Candra! I always shower before I go cause I am a lb down after lol. Aww that would be me in the EDD office with the baby!! hahahaha I contacted EDD today putting a request in for me to attend school/training and I will hear back in about 10 days. I am going to do RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). The city of Martinez is always hiring them and the pay is $4500/mo+ and also, I have a friend that can land me a job in her office once I pass the state board. Thats my plans!! Surgery First, School second. Schooling will be about 1 year.

Morning everyone! OMG I have a very sick baby!! This is only the 4th time she has EVER been sick in the 3 years I've had her so I guess she's lucky, but she just got over that other one a few weeks ago!! She looks so misrable I feel bad for her..... I woke up with a pretty bad headache today. I didn't have any coffee yesterday so maybe that's why. My new current fear: Being up from 250 when meeting Liz tomorrow LOL...What if I walk in there and I am like 253 or something! OMG I am to paranoid. LOVING THIS WEEK OF RAIN!!! Have a good morning everyone!!!

I hope we get dates quick!! I can't wait to get my date on Weds!! I need to text Nicollie for the test answers, there's some I cant find LOL!!

Thanks Lee! I am super excited. It's been a long 5 months, so many trials and errors. I seriously couldn't have done it without you all and the support meetings. I do credit Nicollie ALOT. You to Candra, I knew I could always text you for help :smile2:

GOOD MORNING!!! CONGRADS NICOLLIE!!!! THATS MY GIRL!! I seriously couldn't have done it with out you helping me, and I am soooo super excited for you.....andd on that note I AM AT GOAL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 250.4 YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Called Richmond and they had me do my EKG before I left Kaiser, and then Sara gave me my case managment appointment....THIS WEDS @ 9 AM!!!!!!!! I want to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. With out you, I wouldn't have NEVER gone threw with this, nor even thought I could loose the 35 lbs. YOUR SUPPORT IS SOME OF THE BEST POSITIVE SUPPORT PEOPLE I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE. thank you so much you guys from the tips, ideas, and positive support when I lost my job....

yay for us Nicollie!! I cannot wait to get on the scale tomorrow even with my 2 days of not very good eating. I have only had coffee and water today I am not even hungry, which helps in the long run I hope I have been busy, did 5 loads of laundry (3 were blankets), cleaned my apartment, and cleaned my bedroom. that's some workout!!

Hi Lee! Glad to see your here. Dont worry the scale will move soon!!! I haven't checked my weight today my bf took my scale home!! I was to obsessed with it and checking 2-3 times A DAY!!! I had to stop, so yeah. I am checking my weight tomorrow AM at Kaiser, crossing fingers it's down under 250!!!!

OMG I am finally home!! Reno was a blast, concert was great, the eating, well not so much. Lets just say I will be fasting tomorrow before checking my weight on Monday ;X Nicollie I didn't get a chance to text you I had to rush home and get the baby from my mom who has a cold. Morning all from Reno!! I didn't eat well yesterday at all lol but it is what it is!!!! I didn't go to overboard. The concert was awesome!! I am gonna head home soon I don't like reno very much its so....dirty lol. Nicollie I might not be able to stop my moms sick and I need to get the baby but ill txt ya. Well that I don't have to worry about LOL. I know you have to stop birth control 6 weeks before surgery will she have me stop it on the day I meet her? (Liz). How soon after I call do I get in, same week?

Maria - I have been on EDD since October, I have about 3 months left, but you know there are 2 extentions right? So when it first runs out, you can extend twice. I am an exective admin assistant. I have a feeling I will end up at Starbucks or something retail ;( I want to go back to school but I don't know if my EDD will last long enough!!!
