hey everyone!! well, I found a place that cost $160 flat for a new window. They are coming tomorrow AM to fix it. Sucks things always happen when I am low on $$. My insurance quoted $250 so I opted forming a claim with them. I am doing good on water today after Candra telling me it doesn't stop in my pouch like I thought it did LOL!! food not so much. I forget to eat, and am not really hungry unless its the AM. Breakfast - 1/2 cup cream of broccoli soup Nothing else! Candra~ who is the girl in blue in your photos I dont reconize her?

Good morning all Well my car was broken into this morning at 5 am. My alarm scared them off once they broke the window, so I am dealing with the stress of finding someone cheap enough to fix it....... I am taking the vicodin just twice a day now. I am very sore around my port, and my daughter hit me last night in one of the incisions which didnt help to much. I was 243.2 this morning on my scale but I wont update my ticker until Feb 3 when I go see my PCP.

How is everyone feeling? I am doing ALOT better today (Banded 1.20) just sore!! moved to liquid foods today (strained soups, applesauce, pudding) and burping alot to get the gas out LOL....gas x strips are great!!!!

Pat ~ thank you so much :cursing: I try, with her being my first I still make lots of mistakes, but I learn from them! 3 days YES!!! ARE YOU READY!!!!! I had sugar free chocolate/vanilla. Here's my meals today: Breakfast: 1 sugar free pudding cup Lunch: 1/2 cup strained cream of broccoli soup Dinner: Will be more soup, since I made the whole can I havent had much water because I am kinda scared to drink it. I got use to have 1 oz every 15 mins....I had some broth earlier too since they say thats a clear liquid. Its pretty hard waiting an hr to drink, I find myself watching the clock...LOL

I am here, doing okay still really sore. I am going to take some medicine now, I had avoided it all day so far. I had the pudding for breakfast, and had some broth in between. Now I am sipping some water until my next meal...

Morning all! OMG I WOKE UP TO A VERY SICK CHILD!! She is soooo conjested, I had to call the advice nurse, and a Dr called me back. Long story short their seeing colds this season lasting in kids up to 6-8 weeks!!! All I can do is keep her hydrated =( I woke up STARVING!!! had 1 sugar free jello cup for breakfast, I believe that equals 1/2 cup, if I read that right on here one day. Pat ~ my bf poped out the camera I had in my purse and asked Dr Baggs if the pic could be taken and he said of course! thats before anything begain, IV, etc.

yeah I am moving slow, but I am getting around. Beef broth has been my friend. My throat is super sore still. I went to the store and got creamed soups, pudding and applesauce. How do I strain soup??

Pam ~ that pic was taken before they took me to the surgery room. thats before IV, everything. I didnt drive, my bestfriend hasnt left me since Tues, so he helped me to the store. I lasted about 30 mins and had to lay down after!

oh for sure, I have been doing all beef broth. Makes me feel like I am eating something better...lol well, attemping to hit Safeway for the first time, I havent been in the car since Weds.....eeeek!!

Good morning everyone! Have fun tomorrow at the sac meeting. I am laying in bed sipping my next dose of vicodin. I am living off it. I have a lot of pain in my port area and chest is tight. I have been using the spiro thingy a lot today. I don't remember who asked but yes I am able to get burps out but that's it. The baby is being very soft around me she keeps asking to see mommys boo boos.my ex ended up dropping her back with my mom last nite because I was so tired I was crying. Its hard with a 3 year old. Thanks everyone who keeps sending me well wishes and checking on me :biggrin:

Hi everyone I am okay just very sore at my port area....I am home with my baby. I showed her my boo boos and she said ooohh mommy u need a band aid? I said no I'm ok but brianna can't touch okay? Of course right then she pokes one lol Otherwise living off water and vicodin. Doing tons of walking around my house. I ate some jello but it made my tummy feel funny. Maybe full? I think tina asked, I have 5 inciscions. Okay I'm still groggy ill be back later. Thank you everyone for standing by me!!! I am glad I didn't quit either!! A year from now ill be running with my baby

HERE I AM!!! SORE THROAT AND ALL. LOL!! I am doing fine, some pain under my left boob which Nicole and Candra have told me is fine. So the power came back on around 730. I was preped and in with Baggs by 8 am. I was scared, I cried in the surgery room of course....but I was out so fast I dont remember much. I was also down to 247.3 this morning yay! everyone was so nice. When I woke up, I had the elephant on my chest big time, I was weezing for air, they had to turn the oxygen back on full blast for me. When it came time for the barium swollow I was SO SICK TO MY STOMACH I was carrying around a little tub in case I threw up. They gave me lots of medicines to help me through out the day, and I was released at 2 pm. My inciscions are NICE! they look good! Baggs told me someone told him I was worried and that I would be fine *wink wink tina* I have a pic of me before I went in with Baggs I will post later. I have only had water and gas x today plus the liquid vicadin. I have walked a few times and it made me burp which was nice. I am gonna sip some chicken broth, I will bbl!!! Thank you so much everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this very second no LOL I keep thinking greaaaaaat their gonna loose power during and my moms bugging me to resched

Okay the power just went out in the entire hospital and all surgeries have been stopped.

hahahah thanks Tina!!! I ended up biting ALL MY NAILS OFF today. I said you know what screw this, I am not taking any chances. I will take the pill tonight before bed like they told me, but I dunno about the one in the morning since I cant have anything to drink?? I am going to drop the baby off, then staying at my bestfriends house since he lives in Pinole. I have to be there @ 630 in the AM. I hope the MOM kicks in soon =(

Thanks Lee! yes it's the sleeping part I am most worried about. I don't know what MOM does, but I have the WORSE lower stomach pressure right now it kinda hurts to stand! My daughter is still with me I am not dropping her off till about 730/8pm. I want to keep her till her bed time :mad:

Thanks Maria~ I wonder why I got these random 2 pills? I was going to wear some yoga pants and a hoodie. No more eating after 6pm....no response from the MOM, should I be worried? LOL!
