    Life is good today....

    You just made my day =) I also go to Des Perez but I am under Dr. Follwell. Richardson actually did a slight emergency unfill for me a few months ago (I couldn't even swollow my own spit =( I am glad to hear there are some local success story's on here...keep up the good work you deserve this life.

    Thank You guys for your ideas, I walk everyday but I think I might step it up and try running more. I usually use two sports bra's when I am working out just so I don't have to worry about the ladies :thumbup:

    Never thought 299 would feel so good!

    I know exactly how you feel, I am so close to getting out of the 300, I am down 76 pounds since my surgery and I want to be in the Twoterville so bad it will be just wonderful!!!! Congrats and keep up the hard work!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

    Starting weight of +400?

    I started my journey at exactly 400 pounds, I was banded 6/29/09 and I am down 64 pounds which is 336. I want to lose 100 pounds by Valentines day and I am working hard. I have started to notice my arms starting to become saggy and it is freaking me out...good luck on your journey

    The dog poop bags is a great idea, I am going to pick some up from the dog park next time I go. I have actually had to pull over before and open my car door to let it out because I didn't have anything

    OMG, I do that to when I eat to quickly. I also do it after I swallow my vitamins.
  8. I am the exact same way, if I get really stressed out it is like my tummy closes for business, which I guess is a good thing cuz I eat when I am stressed. Sometimes if I am starving and I know that this is a day that I am having trouble eating I will make some tea just water and decafe tea packet and sip that, then in about an hour I can eat something.

    B - Protein shake S - Orange juice, sugarfree and peanut M&M's (ugh) L - Ceaser salad without the croutons and the Ceaser dressing with a little basalmic vinager dressing and 1/2 cup of chili S - Orange Juice D - 1 sausage link 3 bits of mashed potatoes PB'D it all. I go in for a fill Monday, I think that I am at my spot then I lose my restriction, Doc says that this is normal as I lose more weight, I just wish my restriction would stay put.

    SO sleepy today, I need a lot of rest this weekend B - half of a banquet meal....YUCKY it was so gross and salty :rolleyes2: S - 15 - 25 M&M's :w00t: L - Gordita crunchy, made me PB and threw the rest away :w00t: S - Iced Tea D - Small cup of chili

    Okay here goes... B - Protein shake S - 2 Christmas cookies L - 3 ounces of chile, 2 french fries S - handful of pumpkin seeds D - Mchicken from Mcdonalds without the bun with only tomato and pickles on it (by the way this is the first time I have had Mcdonalds since I was banded, it tasted so good) and 5 french fries. When I think back to what I would of ate prior to surgery from Mcd's it makes me feel mad at that person I used to be. Lets just say I love my band.

    I will be so happy when the holiday season is over. B - Protein Shake S - handful of pumpkin seeds L - frozen meal, took forever to eat S - Nothing D - Fresco taco from taco bell...yummy!!! I have a fill on 12/21/09, I can't wait, I feel like I am eating way to much and things are starting to go down way to easy.

    What food DOESN'T make you PB?

    Funny that you say that, I am not a slab of meat kind of girl either...I rather nibble on turkey or chicken. Well the hour thing is only in the mornings when I am super duper tight, usually by lunch I can eat just fine but I still have way to many problems with bread and such so I just stay away. I use a crisp bread (wasa) instead, it seems to do the trick and I get my bread cravings in order.

    What food DOESN'T make you PB?

    It depends on if I eat to fast or not or not chew it up very well. I am the same, no bread, pasta, or potatoes....I am finally (after many months of struggling) conquered how a sit down to a meal.....slow very slowly. I eat a chicken patty every morning and just that little patty takes about an hour to eat. Just give it sometime you will figure out how your band works. When you do eat something try just eating one thing so you can identify if it works for you or not...if you eat 3 different things at a meal then you won't know which item gave you issues.

    China - I am so sorry to here about your bf's brother...hope all is well B - 1 Chicken patty dipped in mustard s - 2 bites of cake (another bday at work) L - frozen dinner, didn't finish it, it had to many noodles in it and a s/f chocolate pudding s - 6 wheat thins D - 1 cup of spegetti (sp) sauce and ground turkey and about 5 noodles Are you guys getting as nervous about Thanksgiving as I am? I am afraid to PB in front of my family.

    UGH!!! I don't even know if I should share this....but here it goes anyways B - 1/2 protein shake, 3 mini donuts :bored: s - hand full of chips L - 1 cup of chicken soup, the other 3 mini donuts from the packet s - s/f chocolate pudding D - Chicken Patty dipped in mustard I am stuck, I can't control my sugar intake...are any of you had any issue's with that? How did you over come it?

    Done!!! I have finally read all of the pages from the past year. I am here to join and be accountable for my actions, I have been so terrible lately. Putting myself on full liquids today to help me get back on track. B - Protein Shake S - Powerade zero L - 1 Cup of cream of chicken soup S - S/F chocolate pudding D - either soup again or a protein shake Oh and by the way they are having a bake sale at my work today, I love the holidays but then again I hate the holidays :w00t:

    Splenda

    Is to much splenda bad for you? I was reading the back of my food items and most have splenda added. Plus I drink a lot of tea during the day to get my daily amount of fluids in and I put splenda in there as well. Has anybody heard of consuming to much splenda?

    Hang in there guys....When I was at my heaviest I had confidents stringing off of me but I never really got asked out. I had given up, I told myself "no more looking", "I can deal with being single", I had even convinced myself that I would be better off single. Then out of the blue this guy came out of nowhere he had blonde hair blue eyes perfect body great sense of humor and (ladies you know we all are looking for this in a man) a job. I brushed him off thinking here is just another jerk, but this jerk was chasing me, I couldn't believe it. He kept asking me out and so I went ahead and accepted. Three years later we are still together, I wake up some mornings and ask myself "is this for real am I still with this beautiful man?" He is in great shape, he runs everyday and has healthy eating habits (which has helped me out so much). He has stood behind me thru my whole band experience so far. Anyways, I just want to show that there is still hope out there just be yourself and be happy with yourself and that other person will come around just be patient. :thumbup:
