I love the choice I made ...I was banded on Dec. 10 ...I had lot's of surgeries 37 for female problems/scar tissue and had complete hysterectomy at age 22 after having 1 wonderful son....I married my prom date and we are still together after 23 yrs married 25 together......I have had ventral hernia's and needed the weight off the stomach after last year they meshed my entire stomach that is when I decided to have the surgery and WOW I feel so good...Now I have 3 other friends who are having the surgery because they can't believe the difference in me....I am no longer Type 2 diabetic either....My email is harleyhottie0612@gmail.com ...I don't get on as often but, I do try....Smooches and hope I answered some of your questions

WOW, so glad to hear you are doing well honey...I now have 6cc in me and feeling ok but notice eating less and less but the weight is coming off and boy does it feel great....Although I have one friend well so called friend who is I think a little jealous I don'[t think that is much of a friend she is not supportive of this at all towards me and is jabbing me with smartass comments....I promise to try to keep posting I am so addicted to Facebook damn games on there if you are on look me up Stacey Birch Chaney...Smooches honey and so glad you are doing better.

Sorry I have been away got a little depressed but doing much better now....I have lost 52lbs now and had 3rd fill yesterday but, can't seem to keep anything down now....So glad you are doing well and I promise to keep posting just was going through my own adjustment getting used to the change....Smooches and talk soon

Yes, it's is hard just have to remember the band is a tool....I am so afraid to eat the things I used too...Afraid it will get stuck and I haven't been filled not until the 27th ..Keep me posted on your fills and I will do the same...Smooches

Hello Linda hope all is well.... tomorrow is 4 weeks and now I am getting hungry grr...don't go back to doc's till the 27th hoping for a fill...still losing trying to do arm and leg exercises ....but, just want to see if you were feeling the same as me alittle down...smooches

Hey I am doing great lost 20 lbs. so far since the day after Thanksgiving becuz of the liquid diet and but, I am sticking to the diet and off all meds...So happy about that...How are you feeling? Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

OMG!! Yeah that had to be hard...But, you can do it...Just think how good you will look this summer....Get this my mom who didn't approve of the surgery gave me to gift certificates to red lobster and olive garden...Then she says oh I didn't even think you couldn't eat that stuff...So I am on a mission to prove I can lose it and make the haters jealous....smooches

My next appt is not until the 27th grr .,..16lbs that is great as well....I can't wait for my fill too....but, I am sticking with the diet I just keep saying the band is a tool not going to do it for me ...I need to follow the diet even if I want to taste something I don't .....Christmas I got a little depressed with all the junk around but, I just kept thinking they are getting fatter and I am getting skinnier and come on summer time....smooches

Yup me too no more diabetes meds. I was on 3 different pills daily....I am losing great but, I am following the diet figured took me 6 months to go through all this to finally have it done... Everything I eat is sugar free still...I love tomato soup so eat that for lunch ...applesauce with cinnamon on it for breakfast and carnation drink once a day the rest of the time I try to keep busy...first two weeks though I was sore...Hope you feel better soon smooches...

Yeah I am sticking with sugar free jello, Edys sugar free fruit pop sickles they are the BEST! I have my first check up on the 21st cant wait....I am trying the protein shakes but have the hardest times with them the most takes me all day just for 1 cup to get down...Other fluids no problem sugar free juices of course...Smooches and keep me updated...

Linda, lol me to about the bathroom!!! It has slowed down a bit ...I am now day 4 ...They put me on Hydromorphone 4mg and wow it knocks me out they are very small pills but, help alot with the pain I had a hernia repair and adheshions (scar tissue removed)...So I think that is why the pain wakes me up...So glad that I finally have people asking questions it makes the day go by and helps forget about the pain. How are you feeling now? Did you have your surgery on the 10th as well? Hope you are doing better today smooches Stacey

Thanks again for asking how everything went and I will keep everyone up to date and you guys as well...But I think the gas parts is the worst....

Hello Everyone, I am banded I stayed over nitght got home late last nite.. The pain is fine what I expected...but, the diarrhea since I got home first nite at home was the worst (last nite) the gas pains...But, other then that doing great...Drink slowly haven't got sick just the diarrhea is unbarrable...Good luck to next weeks December Delights...Smooches
