  2. Mine are chips and crackers
  3. I was cleared for salad today, but to cut it up in small pieces. I'm allowed to try new food as tolerated also
  4. I was sleeved 8/8. I went to the doctor's today and down another 11 pounds making a total of 24. He told me today I need to add some veggies and one bite of starch to my diet. I've been living off of mainly protein drinks and protein such as chicken and fish, yogurt. He said I could try salad as long as the lettuce is cut up in tiny pieces. I can start back at the gym. The first 2-3 weeks were the hardest for me with nausea, feeling tired all of the time. It's getting easier to eat now, starting to get energy back a little bit. He also said I could try almonds 1-2x a week, apple slices without the skin. I'm eating 1/4 to 1/2 cup at meals, more closer to 1/4 cup. He told me with time I'll be able to eat a little more. He was quite pleased and so was I!

  8. I'm band to sleeve, 4 weeks out. I went back to work after 2 weeks. I was only planning on one week, but was to exhausted to go back. I was in the hospital 2 days. I only took my pain med twice when I was home then I was off of them. I definitely would do it again
  9. Conniesings: I too am 4 weeks out. Yep, I get nausea on and off but not to the extent at the 2 week mark. I'm a little older too at 50 years old.

  18. For me no, but I'm just now starting food. I've been on protein drinks, yogurt, some cottage cheese. Just remember, every day gets a little bit better and it does
  19. I was drooling too! LOL. I'm 3 weeks out now and tried a little egg salad and a couple of crackers and it stayed down! I will try tuna.

You sound like me! I was sleeved August 8, spent 2 days in the hospital and released on day 3. Hard to get out of bed, hate the smell of food cooking only because I miss chewing! LOL Yep, got my hair colored and cut too. I'm supposed to go back to work this Friday
  23. That's wonderful!
