  1. Hi there! I just saw all of your pics and had to tell you that I think you look great! What an inspiration! I'm getting banded on 6/17 and cannot wait to get started getting fit and being healthy! How was your recovery? I'm most afraid of the first month, I hope I don't mess up! Take care! - Marie

  2. thanks again for the info! you have been so helpful! what kind of myshy foods are you eating? i bet you will lose some weight once your stomach has gotten used to the mushy foods. you were on liquids before and now you're on mushy foods, so you're stomach is probably just getting used to it.

  3. Hey there, saw your post on another profile I was just on. Anyway, I wanted to compliment on how you look fantastic. Your before and after pictures are remarkable and inspiring. Great job!

  4. Hi - me again :)

Another question for you. I just read a thread on "not feeling any restriction" and how it takes a few fills until you feel restriction. Did you/are you going through that? Are you feeling any restriction? I'm worried that I will over eat after my band is in if I won't even feel the restriction until months later. This is discouraging.

    Thanks,

    Marie

    Surgery date moved to 6/17

Ugh. I'm so pissed off about this. My doctor's assistant is not available on the 10th so my surgery date was moved to the 17th. WTF?!?

  7. Thanks for writing back! I definitely expected pain and discomfort after the surgery. I'm glad I can talk to people on here to find out what I should really prepare myself for as far as the pain goes. What is it like for you with having just liquids after? Did you feel hungry? Did you get a headache? Was it hell? When I don't eat when I'm hungry, I get a massive headache, that's what I'm fearing right now. I think I can take my surgery wounds, but my headaches, I am not sure about. What type of pain medication do they put you on? Anyway, I think that's all of my questions for the day (LOL!), I'm sure I'll come up with more.

    Thanks!

"Thump, thump, thump!" said my head this morning!

Morning! I'm not sure how I'm even awake this morning as I do not think I slept at all! I think it's time to do another sleep test and get a new prescription for my CPAP machine. I'm supposed to feel refreshed and energized, but all I feel today is...poop. Does anyone know if my sleep apnea will go away after I've lost all my weight? I blame being fat for my sleep apnea, I can't imagine skinny girls needing a Darth Vader mask to sleep at night. I can't wait to finally be able to sleep anywhere without needing my mask. Sigh... In other news, I heard on Ryan Seacrest's radhio show this morning that major cat fights are happening on the taping of The Hills! Apparently, bad girl Laguna Beach alum has taken over Lauren Conrad's show and has already been in a physical fight with Audrina! Claws all out! BTW, did any of you Twilight fans see these pics of MY EDWARD yesterday? http://www.robsessedpattinson.com/2009/05/whole-scene-shirtless-robward.html Yum! Seriously, yum! Until the next blog, toodles.
  9. Hi, thanks for the message. I'm not sure what you mean by what type of exercises I do. Do you mean actual physical exercises?

Congratulations on getting your surgery date! 6/10 is right around the corner. How are you feeling?

This is my first entry on my blog. Will anyone actually read it, I wonder? Probably not. My surgery is in exactly 2 weeks from today. I'm so nervous. I've never had anything done before, have neever been cut open or stayed the night at the hospital. The closest I think was when I had stitches from when I sliced my ankle when I was younger. Or maybe when I had to do a sleep study for my sleep apnea - but that doesn't count..I think. In other news, some chick name Erika Dutra is kissing and telling about her night with Robert Pattinson (the most beautiful man, my Edward, my one free pass..sigh..) while in Cannes. If you get a chance to hook up with the man, you should keep your mouth shut and enjoy it! Maybe he'll call you again when he's back in town? Now he's just going to think you're nothing but an opportunist slut! Until the next blog, toodles.

  14. Hi there! I saw your pics on how you've progressed after your surgery and I must say, I am very motivated by it! My surgery date is on 6/10 (in 2 weeks!) and am very nervous about it. How was the recovery for you during the 1st month? Was it really difficult? Anyway, I wanted to say congrats!

  16. Hi there! I see that you were recently banded - how are you feeling? How is it going? My surgery date is on 6/10 and I'm very anxious. I'd love to hear about your surgery and what it's been like for you post-op.

    Congratulations!

    Marie

  17. Hi there! From the pictures you posted, it looks like we may be about the same size. I'm 5'2" and I'm probably about 260+ lbs. I am having my surgery on 6/10 and am very excited about it! How are you feeling post-op? Would love to get your perspective on your experience with getting surgery.

    Congratulations!
