Today I woke up, weighed myself and it said: 180!!!!!!!!:sad: This is a number I haven't seen in decades! I stand amazed and excited.

Hey there- No worries, i haven't been on and really looked through everything in a while- just quick posts and that's it. Hang in there- it's all worth it. Im doing really well. I have lost 40 pounds since surgery on 10/14 and 60 since May. I have had 4 fills- CRAZY!!!!!!! I have an 11 cc band and now have 6 cc's in it (last fill was last wednesday). I think I have hit the right spot, at least I hope so. I just added some new pics. today (in my pre and post album). I have really been fighting head hunger and the desire to stress eat this last week more than usual. It's been difficult, but im getting by. keep in touch- I promise to do so!!!!!- Leslie

Well I had my 4th fill yesterday. I now have 6 cc's in an 11 cc band. Hoping for the sweet spot. Still losing weight though so all is good. Workin with the band!!!!!

hi ya hun!!! Im down 35 pounds to (as of 3 months post op)- 58 since May. I don't even begin to know how I lost weight on the cruise......I ate! I was careful, but I know I ate more than I should have. Confession too: I drank wine with some meals.....so maybe that helped???? Not something I will do regularly though. The cruise was awesome- went to cozumel, grand cayman and montego bay jamaica. It was a fabulous 7 days. Im still missing being on the boat- being waited on hand and foot!!!! I would highly recommend a cruise. I go to the Dr. on the 20th for my 3 month follow up with the surgeon....hoping he will give me fill #4- still have little to no restriction. (kind of frustrating). I feel good and know that I have done the right thing for myself. I just bagged up about 8 bags of clothes/shoes/etc. and took them to Goodwill because I will never see that size again!!!!! Love to you. Let me know how you are doing.

I just went on a 7 day Caribbean Cruise. It was fantastic. I was so worried that I would gain weight. My third fill didn't do anything for me, and it was right before we left on the cruise. I tried to watch what i ate- but it was hard at times- so much good food. I also drank with my meals at times (red wine). However, when I weighed myself this morning (now that I am home and have the only scale that I believe......) and I had lost two pounds!!!!! Such a relief.:w00t:. I have my 3 month follow up appointment with my surgeon on Wednesday- Iam hoping that he will give me another fill then- i want to find that "sweet spot". God Bless- hope everyone is doing well.

hey there- i just got back from a 7 day caribbean cruise!!! lost 2 pounds....so not bad. the 3rd fill is not the charm. I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon on the 14th so i will see if he wants to give me another fill then. how are you doing?

I agree with the others. this is the best thing i could have done for myself/my health. It is still hard work, but worth every minute of it. It does take changes to your diet and exercising more, but like I said-extremely worth it all. Good luck to you!!!!- Leslie -
Hey there- I had my lapband surgery on Oct. 14th (11 weeks ago). I have lost 30 pounds since the surgery and 53 total since the day I went to the seminar in May. I love my band! I haven't had any difficulties. So today was the third fill. I now have 5 cc's in an 11 cc band. we will see if this one does the trick. Im on liquids for 24 hours, then soft solids for dinner tomorrow and then back to full solids on Wednesday. I hope all is going well for you. Well- Im going for my third fill on Monday the 21st. I found out that I have an 11cc band. My first fill was 3 cc's, second was 1cc....no restriction. Hoping the third time is the charm. We shall see................

Im doing well. Im down 27 pounds since surgery and 49 total (since the seminar). I found out that I have an 11 cc band. My first fill was 3 cc's but it didn't last long. I had another fill on Monday the 14th of 1cc, but feel no restriction at all......so im going back on the 21 to see if they want to do another fill. Im kind of frustrated, but overall doing well. Im just eating my regular 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup and no more (well with very few exceptions). Im still trying to work out 3-5 days a week but this week is so busy/don't know if i will make it that much. I will keep you posted on the 3rd fill. Hope you get some rest!!!! talk soon. Leslie

Well- I haven't lost much since my first fill. I got the first fill the week prior to thanksgiving and I don't feel "restricted". I still only eat about 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of food but never have a restricted feeling....i feel full - is that the same??? I have an appointment on Monday (the 14th)to get a second fill. Is this the right thing to do? Just not sure. any advice? Thanks!!
