  2. im feeling pretty good surgery was at 11am and i left the hospital at 5pm..so imma lil sore and there is a lil bit gas but im feeling pretty good i must say i have the single incision as you can see so very happy bout that

  3. its going great i did a menu for the two weeks im pushing alot of protein and only 30 carbs or less a day with only 3 grams of fat in every meal..it was hard the first day and maybe the second but getting use to it now.i just try to get alot of protein in so that i stay full..when i get hungry i just drink all the water i can.lol..are u having the single incision?

  4. no there is a new procedure called sils..look into it..not everyone is approved for that kind idk..i asked and he examined me and said yes he could so..i only have the one in the bell button and yes when ur in the surgery waiting area you will have to put on a hospital gown nothing on underneath i brought a robe just incase i needed to get to the bathroom or something..i didn't even wear a bra there and you want very comfortable big panties so that it doesn't touch ur stomach

  5. yes im walking,,i don't have no pains,, mostly just soreness and i had a lil gas pains in my chest yesterday but nothing today..the gasx strips are great i found out here about them

  6. im on loritab liquid i took it once today already but i slept very well last night on the sofa lol but overall i truly feel great im sipping water, broth, a lil bit of jello and taking my multivitamins..tomorrow i can start protien shakes

  8. im doing pretty good,, lost 22 lbs already, 12 lbs since surgery and 10 lbs was pre-ot, im on soft foods too..wat are u eating..ive been getting broiled fish, baked chicken and i puree in a food processor,,with spinach sometimes, cottage cheese for breakfast or a protein shake, muscle milk..if i eat a meal its just usually lunch..breakfast usually cottage cheese and a protein shake..fish and spinach puree for lunch then muscle milk for dinner..ive been doing losing app. 3-5 lbs a week..im trying to stay that way..

  10. im actually feeling pretty good,,the only prop i have is when i walk i have that pulling in the port site area im sleeping fine, i get hungry as well but right now i eat about 1 jello and 1 popsicies and im pretty full for about 3 hours once im full i don't think about food at all only when im hungry i don't work either but i have to cook for my husband and kids..its hard but i stop and think about it i didn't go through all of this just to cheat..

  11. im not cheating nobody but myself and its not work it pretty soon it will be mushies i told my husband that i can't wait to eat some pureed ham..lol its seems like a meal fit for a queen..im sticky to it..i got some other kinds of soups like chicken noddle and just strained it..the chicken broth got old by day 3-4..i also added sugar free fudge popcisles dont know if i could but the calories and stuff aren't much different from the fruit sugar free popsiciles that helped..but dont worry bout the applesauce just keep doing what you suppose to from now on out and remember y it is we are all here

  14. hows the mushies been treating you im guessing it seems like a meal fit for a queen after the darn liquids..lol im holding on its not bothering me i just know i want this weight off and thats the only thing on my mind is to do what i need to in order for that to happen...

  16. yea u are right,,im feeling pretty good been walking since about day 5 at least 30 mins a day...feeling better no more pain meds..i go to the dr tomorrow to see how much ive lost since surgery...can't wait for mushies..

  18. check out the site not only is this site for inspiration but also for personal gain in feeling good about urself..and i to one do feel good about myself...if you look i also have pictures of my progress as well..many ppl on this site post pictures because they love who they are now and in the progress we've made..good luck to you also..ONE THING THIS SITE IS NOT ABOUT IS NEGATIVITY AND YOU HAVE ALOT OF IT..

  24. well my whole ordeal didn't take even a month i went may 15th for my referral to dr. ganta and im having my surgery june 10th so they tell me tricare is extremely fast when it comes to this surgery idk..i had my approval within two weeks and tricare pays for 100%

  25. i get blood work done on tomorrow morning 9am,,monday i go for pre-register in at 2:30pm at seton hospital in austin and pre op appointment monday also at 4:30 with my surgeon, other than that surgery is on Wed. june 10th 7 days from today at 11am..gotta be there at 9am.
