  1. How much did he charge for the surgery?
  2. I really REALLY want to get the Lap-Band surgery! It’s very expensive though. According to my insurance if my BMI is over 40.0 I do not need any co-morbidity factors for them to pay. I am only 20 lbs away from 40.2 BMI. It makes me almost cry just thinking about it! Should I gain the weight?? I've been heavy all my life. I feel like the real me is under all this fat and I want so desperately to come out! :grouphug: I might be able to afford the surgery on my own but it will be tough.
  3. I did some research on him and everything looks awsome! I really want him to do my surgery but its $15,000 and that doesn't include preop stuff. If I have $7,000 more I would use him for sure. Dave
  4. Lap-Band Surgeons around Central California, Santa Barbara Area. Has anyone used a surgeon in the Santa Barbara, Ca area? I am looking for a good one.

Go see my primary care doctor B. Call the insurance and ask them C. Find a Lap Band doctor and go see him Thanks in advance David
  7. I have a few questions if anyone can help me: 1. After the procedure do you always feel hungry? 2. After you lost the weight do you have to pay for another surgery to remove the band? 3. After the weight lose do you have an excess of skin and need to get a body lift? Thanks in advance to anyone and everyone that can help me with these questions. Dave
