Hi Laura My little Band Buddie, I am doing well I am very tight. I went to my fourth fill today and just got weighed in and spoke with the NP. I am so tight I could not take a fill if I wanted one. She was ok with that. I also lost 8 pounds I am going is a GOOD downward direction. Seems every time I go for a check up I lose 8 lbs. Must be something with the number 8. I am happy and healthy. I even went for a bike ride out side yesterday it was great. I felt so active and young again. I hope all is well with you. You have been thru so much. How are you? I think about you everyday. I am meeting with nutritionist and in a few weeks. My hospital keeps changing dates on me, that is frustrating. My insurance will also pay, thats a good thing. I am mindful eating and cutting back on portion sizes. I have lost 17 lbs and they wanted me to loose 10 so I am happy. Just trying to keep it off and keep the focus. I love my new computer. I am sooooo proud of you!! Do you think I can call the dressing room a work out LOL. I mean it really was... You so inspire me. I am always attracted to the positive people on this site. Hi My Band Buddy, WE CAN DO THIS! Well, it has rained here for 4 weeks straight I am north of Boston on the Northshore. Yes, you are a very busy little lady. I was lucky enough to get two weeks off. I do not have to go back to work for a while. I have found a number of band buddy friends and any one of them would love to hear from you. Just click on their name and send them a message. I cleaned my kitchen the week before surgery. But I have to keep up with the counters they are out of control now. So that is what I am doing today. I walk around the house. Yes, Texas is a hot place now you can not go out that's for sure. Keep the spirits up and the mood positive and chat with me it will help me out so much. I am NOT going to a cook out if I can help it. We have been invited to a few. If I GO I will NOT EAT ANY FOOD. I do not want to feel the pain you had. It is a reminder that good food will be had in the RIGHT time. NOT NOW. I will be in touch soon Have a Happy Day.

Hi Breanne, I am so glad to hear from you. I have never been to a group meeting or support group. Although I could probably use one or two. When are they at Lahey anyway? You have a Great Blog!!!! I love the music, impressive Let me know the date and time and I can't wait to meet my little LB buddy. I could use some support these days. I must say I have accomplished my first BIG GOAL. Hi my name is Kathy and Yes 90 pounds since June 29 OMG this band is saving my life. I have had three fills and I am as full as I have ever wanted to be. I have always been a good dieter. But as you know this is not like a diet. I am Like an over achieve if you will. I have made many mistakes with the band but I have also learned how to manage my food intake in a healthy way. I feel if you want to be little you must eat like a little person. Just remember protein first and no liquids at meal times that was the hardest thing for me to learn. You stay fuller longer if you do not drink with meals. Best wishes on your journey. imaluckydog

Yes, and when you eat you are swallowing air as well. I have also had just a little shoulder gas and I just think the air gas has not place to go. I have also had much more faltice (gas) these days since surgery than I ever had in my life. Just wait and the pounds melt away. I do not even care about my gas anymore. Other than gas is everything going well? I also think exercise help and drinking the water will help as well. Have a great day. Look forward to hearing from you soon. How is the food going?
