hey lauren, how are things going? i did it! i lost 13 pounds. still dont know yet about insurance but at least i can eatnow.lol.how did the surgery go?

i just thought they were being very unfair to you. i wasnt going to post anything on that thread, but it wasnt fair. maybe they'll leave you alone now, and hate me.who cares, i know i dont!

kinda.lol. i lost 13 pounds and im at 240. i tried getting an earlier appt to my doc for this week so i could get weighed in, but they didnt have any available. so i have to keep it off til the 30th. i fluctuate between 242 and 240. so as long as i stay below 242 im good. ill just detox over the weekend. how are you? when is your surgery?

aww thanks hun. youre a georgous girl yourself. youre having your surgery 4 days before my bday. im hoping i get lucky and the doc says i can have my surgery in july too. but im pretty sure im gonna have to have a 6 month supervised diet. we'll see...........

that would suck soooooooooooooo bad if i had to get a 6 month supervised diet. my husband is deploying (going to iraq) and i want to go home for the holidays. im living in germany right now, so when i go home, im gonna stay for 2 months. so its gonna be, i can have the surgery and spend the holidays alone with my baby boy, or go home and spend the holidays ,but miss out on the surgery?!?!?! im so frusturated. i hope they work with me. military docs suck, and i doubt they will.

thru your boobs?!?!?! did you know there was going to be an incision that high? do they tell you before hand where their going to cut? sorry for all the questions.lol. you said your livier was a little large, did you have a preop diet?just reading that you could "feel" your port made me squimesh.lol

im glad you didnt have any pain. thru your belly button? if they knew they were going thru the belly button then why didnt they just do the one incision?is your belly button sore?

but did you see the surgeon before you were told to lose weight? i havent even seen the surgeon yet. im afaird that once i see him, he's gonna take my weight and put it into tricare(my insurance) my PCM wouldnt even let me see my surgeon til i lost the weight. and im pretty sure my surgeon is gonna wanna weigh me. i dont wanna gain any weight. but i dont wanna lose out on this either.grrr, its so confusing!

im still in the beginning stages. ive done my psych and nutritionist and went back to my PCM only to be told that i need to lose 10 -15 pounds. ive lost it, and am now just trying to keep it off til my next appt on the 30th. the part that sucks is, losing the weight put me under my 100 pounds for insurance approval...so i'll have to gain it back! when do you find out if youre approved?

things are still going good. im down to 243 so another 3 pounds and ill be done.lolthe only problem i have is that the weight is comming off pretty fast but i cant see my doc til the 30th. maintaining has always been a huge issue for me. but i figure as long as i stay on liquids it shouldnt be hard.how are you doing? how much weight have youlost so far?

p.s. i hate slimfast.lol

thanks "questions" for the post. i think as long as we keep the faith and try our hardest everything else will fall into place. i'll pray for the both of us. it cant hurt.lol

i was reading one of your threads and i was just wondering if you got approved from tricare?

im 22 and living in germany and ive already seen the doc and psych and i have my mmpi thing on monday but the doc said they usually dont do it for our age. i dont see why not though. why should we have to wait til were older to get it?

also how long did it take you?

i know we dont eachother, but i was reading one of your threads and i just had a question.i go in for my psych 2morrow and im terrified!! what are they looking for? i have tricare too (hubbys in the airforce and were stationed at ramstein germany) and ive heard how picky they can be. and also any tips about the nutritionist?

i keep a food diary but im afaird if itake it she'll have one look at it and say " this is why youre fat"...im a nervous wreck. any help would be much appreciated!!!

im in germany right now @ ramstein and i was just wondering if you ever heard of anyone getting it done at landstuhl? i know this is stupid but im so embarrased to even call for an appointment with my regular provider. im afraid ill get denied. im 22 5'8 246 pounds. i have arthritus and a hip dieses that can only be cured by a hip replacement.i just had my first son back in november and i cant even sit on the floor for 10 minutes without my butt and back hurting from all the weight.

do you think i have a chance?
