  1. Well I finally decided to get started on this journal thing ...since I find writing (typing) a good way to list my frustrations and pleasures.
    I went to my pre-op instruction this morning......and my pre-op testing is Feb 1st. Surgery day is Feb 5th. I am nervous, but yet so very excited. Knowing it will be the first step to a new me.
    I find during daydreaming, I am not only doing this for me, but for my husband and my little girl. I want to be able to be and active part of their lives not just sitting back and lookng in...but participating!!!!!
    I hope to meet many friends on here...those of you with wonderful determination are praised....I will be on here reading away for inspiration.:nervous
