  1. Was sleeved on 10/08. Please add me @ chad2rad. Is there a way to adjust your daily calorie intake on MFP? Thanks
  2. Concerned post week two I can drink a premier shake in twenty minutes. Is that too fast? Had surgery 10/8 Also want to confess I did not measure my Soup closely last pm and today. A belly ache and first nausea in a while scared me tonight. So I am back to thinner full liquids, think the roasted tomato soup was too much, and measuring. No guess work. I did not have lortab all day until now. Hopefully that is it. It's helping. Done so well, how could I let a little boredom and carelessness put me at risk for a leak.
  3. Also want to confess I did not measure my soup this weekend. Thanks for holding me to this...
  4. How long should it take me to drink a 11 oz premier chocolate shake? Is twenty minutes too fast? While on week 2 post op, it went down fine but has me worried.
  5. Best news all day. I will try one when I am able. Close to my work.
  6. You are healing great. You really inspire me. Thanks for your positive energy.
  7. Thinking of you with a lot of love!
  8. This is week two of recovery. Go back to work next Monday. Looking forward to the social aspect. Trying get as much sleep I can, go for a brisk walk outside everyday and keep hydrated. I have found I like creamy tomato soup or tomato bisque. Never did pre op. I tried half of a v8 at the store. Did not sit right all night. May be too much acid this early. Best of luck to everyone.
  9. Just wanted to share current weight loss. Started getting serious about my pre op diet mid September and was around 318, was 302 just before my October 8 Sleeve. Today I got on the scale and was 278! Love this sleeve! 40 lbs Baby!
  10. There is a great book I am reading by a physician on mindlful eating that talks about listening to our bodies to guide our eating like a naturally thin person might... I really like it. www.amihungry.com
  11. Scopolamine is a patch that goes behind your ear for nausea. Helped me so much. They put it on me in surgery holding. Looks like a really small bandaid.
  12. Yes can't wait for the freedom to buy shirts that are not $60 that fit when I want to. Glad you are enjoying life better.
  13. That's awesome news, Congrats!
  14. Love all the real candid responses, you guys rock
  15. Love reading all these reports. I was sleeved Monday 10/8 and Wedneday the loose bm's started. And a few explosions, luckily I made it in time. I don't remember any yesterday, and def not today. Anyone one a regular schedule? Used to be daily coffee and hit the Lu. Maybe ill take a stool softener in the am if I need it.
  16. I kept it quiet for a long time, except for my immediate family. Thats what i needed at the time. Then this past 6 weeks or so I started telling everyone at work... It became part of my self care even before surgery this week. I got almost all positive comments. It released some uncomfortable self talk I was holding on to. Best to u on this journey
