  1. lOL, briefly jealous! I am tired of cooking. I'd ban most of that from my kitchen, franky. Not because of my band, bur because I don't want my kids to be unhealthy, nor my husband.
  2. I would adore having someone come cook at my house for weeks on end. Then I would only need to worry what goes into my mouth and not the whole crew's!
  3. People are usually far more concerned about themselves then they are about you. What you see as sabatage is usually just people living their lives. I find it hepful to remember that it isn't all about me. Everyone is just as busy living their own lives as you are yours.
  4. weird, I am having to look at the ablation, too. Not happy, either. My other stinking news is that my surgeon is leaving. Only one other local doc does surgeries and fills, and I called the office this morning. The staff doesn't know whether he will take new fill patients. i just cried.
  5. lol, I was in the elevator at Cabelas when mine started slipping. So i hiked them up well, look up, and see the camera, lol! I waved. Good for you!!!!!!!!
  6. i have had a period for 2 out of 4 weeks since.
  7. You all are sweet. i started thinking that way with life in general. I say stupid things, get angry with my kids, eat something less than helpful, and I really do try to grant that grace and start anew. I hope it works for you all, too. I also try to grant others the same when they screw up, too!
  8. I don't measure salads. I eat until I am full. Of course that is a salad with no croutons/cheese, and an appropriate dressing. I will sometimes use a regular dressing, but a measured amt.
  9. lol, I get it. I have very little restriction, and it is tempting on the crabby days to use that! What you ate isn't terrible. I think there needs to be some room for a small bit of wonderful in our lives. And the ability to enjoy it without guilt in the end. So grant yourself some grace, and step into today with a fresh heart.
  10. Just a thought. But this is a fad diet. It can and would be a slip back into bad patterns in my life. I have fad dieted, and it works short term, but maybe it would be better to look at why you are making the choices you are, deal with those issues, and not fall back into the magic diet patterns. If you are forgetting your banded, maybe you need to slow down, journal and pay attention.
  11. No stinking kidding! Maybe that is why they handed out the spanx and shirts mid show!
  12. you are right, of course. i just hate seeing docs at this point. i had to make another appt. it is freakish, though.
  13. i've been having wretched pain when I eat. sometimes in my chest, and sometimes lower. i have only had one fill, so dont think i am too full. i am not a happy girl. i did find out that burger king has a side salad that is a great option if you don't eat the croutons. with a big roadtrip coming up, i was happy to see that.
  14. tickled that Melissa is gone! I am all about the weight loss, and people doing well. Loved sunshine going under 200. Maybe because I am old, but I love seeing the light come into these young people's lives. And I cheer for the oldsters. Even Michael was not horrid this week. I did think the buzzer was fun, though. Loved Daris's comment about it being cause to grab a mattress and hide in the bathtub! Reminded me of Mater "I am happier than a tornado in a trailer park!" I like it when they start wearing clothes for the weigh in, also.
  15. The time whizzed by, I agree. With our insurance the 6 months didn't start until the education meeting, and then it really wound up being 9 months due to a rescheduled psych eval.
  16. she sounds like a mom. That said, maybe if we had all listened better to the mom advice, we wouldn't have needed the surgery in the first place.
  17. Praying for those hoping for children. That is a hard road.
  18. i'd like to be a birdie around when Sam finds out it was Koli who sent his girl home. I wonder if he was jealous. Absolutely only speculation, of course. I said I didn't like drama, when what I really don't want is mean and sneaky. Love, well, that is a whole other story!
  19. Rumor has it that she and Sam are dating. I liked her, and think they would make a cute couple. I'm sure they rigged the show to bring her back, also. I want to be inspired, not have more stress in my life.
  20. So, you have a wdw ap, but can't afford surgery? I don't get it.
  21. He has done the whole "my team" since the pick. He is so egotistical.
  22. lol, i cannot stand Melissa. She is a liar and a snake, and I don't care for those in real life or tv...
  23. i'd not eat biscuits and gravy because they have little to no nutritional value.
