  3. Just curious if anyone still has discomfort months after surgery. It's funny that I did them around week 4 and the nurse told me to stop,and now that I have been banded for two months the ab lounger is very uncomfortable. I have never really been able to do regular situps,and my tummy has always been an issue. I am not sure what other exercises to try? The nurse wouldn't give me a fill today..not sure I needed it anyway,but she says I am dropping weight a little faster than they would like???? Guess I thought that was the point??
  4. Hi, I had my third fill yesterday and so I am now at 4.8. Last night after eating some fruit and drinking water I felt like I was going to vomit,but only the water that I had came back up and then I felt better. This morning I felt a little nauseated before I ate and it got a liile worse after I ate my omelet and since that I have been drinking my sugar free drink mix..I feel like if I eat then I will surely hurl. Should I wait to see if this passes or call the nurse. I know this may sound strange,but I really don't care if feeling like this will make me not want to eat for a couple of days..a liquid diet is fine by me. Any suggestions/opinions? Thanks!:bored:
  5. I have sent you some meal ideas from my book, I have a few more if none of these work for you. My doc has me pushing for about 60 grams of protein daily. These can be mixed and matched as your taste require. I can't eat string cheese do I did a lot of yogurt and I still use Slim-fast or the CIB because I don't "eat" breakfast.

  7. Banded on 4/27 and my second fill on Monday,I still don't feel any restriction and b/c I am scared to over eat,I know I am not eating enough. I have looked all over the internet for an actual diet plan that is high protein,low fat,and has little carbs. I am starting to get discouraged and my husband being deployed to Iraq is making it worse. I just wanna get in bed and cry! According to the scales on Monday I have lost 10 lbs,and honestly I think I lost more in the same time frame when I did LA weight loss. I don't want anyone to sugarcoat this or feel sorry for me,I want to be successful at this and I am working out,but REALLY struggling with eating the way I should. I went to see a personal trainer today to check out her program,well she didn't make me feel any better with how "bad" I did on her "fitness test" and she will need at least 30 sessions with me for 1050.00 and how I should take it b/c I need a lotta help..geezzzzzzzzzzzzz:cursing: Pudgy
  8. I went to seminar in Jan,pre-op in February,and banded in April. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought. Good Luck
  9. I purchased the game today. I worked out for 30 minutes. The game came with a leg band and a resistance band. I put in my height,weight,etc..and had to run,box,do squats and bicep curls. In my opinion it is worth the 52 to 59 bucks depending on where you buy it from. I honestly feel like I went to the gym after work.
  10. The nurse told me nothing helps but to get up and keep movong around. She said drinking water to try and move it only can make the feeling worse.
  11. Just curious I was banded on 4/27,and I go in on 18th. Should I expect to see just the nurse, is their a dietician,and how do they determine how much of a fill? I am trying to keep positive,but I am up 2 lbs and this is only my second day of a "regular" diet. I haven't been eating "bad",but not sure what's going on besides I have been getting home late all week and I only had the strength to work out once this week. Anyone have a good workout routine in Killeen,Ft. Hood,or Cove? Thanks

I was banded on 4/27,and I know it is almost time for my cycle,but I wanted something sweet so bad yesterday..ate 1/4 cup of lowfat ice cream,and then after 3 soft scrambled eggs this morning I feel like i haven't eaten ANYTHING!! I have also gained 2 lbs. Does anyone have a sample diet plan that works for them? I see the nurse on the 18th...worried and it's hard enough keeping my head up with hubby in Iraq:confused:.
  13. I know we are all different,but I thought my stomach would not still be so bloated looking. How soon do you start to do situps or ab lounger? Banded on the 27th of April, w/ 12lbs lost. Thanks
