Thanks for checking on me. Post-op from my band and going smooth. I made it to full liquids. YEAH!

I am having some issues with my thyroids. The doc had me get an ultra sound done and he found two large mass. So last Friday I had to go have the biopsied. That was ALOT of pain. Still weighting on the result. How are you? What is it like at the two month mark? Can't wait to hear from you.

Cammy - Reading your post in your album was like finding that perfect Hallmark card that says exactly how you feel. I am 33 and 245lb also. I too forget how fat I am and just as soon as I start enjoying myself I see a mirror or a picture. It ruins it all. I do not have a date yet - all of my pre-op stuff is done and I am waiting on the insurance co. now. Please update and let me know how you are doing. I would love all the details (good,bad, and ugly) I am ready for the lapband, but I am also very scared.

I could not help but notice that your start weight is REALLY close to my weight now. I am still in the process of getting my band. I hope to have it within a few months. I also notice you are from Yulee, I have some friend that moved to GA. from Yulee a few years back. Yulee is just not an everyday name. Best of luck to you. Please keep posting pics.

I actually weigh the same thing I weighed the day I had my surgery. I not discouraged yet, Reading stories like your help to keep me focused. Keep up the great work - for both of us.

What a great story. Honestly, when I first saw your pics I thought you were playing a joke. You look wonderful. Thank you for posting and inspiring those of us new at this process. I am one week post-op and already worried about how I will handle this when the NEW wears off. Reading stories like your encourages me to only think positive. Please keep posting any tips or stories you have.

hey cht5455-- yeah for you on your 40lbs gone forever. I am also from ga. Who was your doctor? Any suggestions. I look forward to hearing from someone close to home.

Slow but steady. Due to the holidays I have to wait 2 months to get my first fill. Ugh!

If I can just maintain during Christmas I will be happy.
