  1. That was really informative. Thanks so much for sharing, it really helped me understand the surgery better.
  2. Hi, I'm Tonya. I live in S.C. I have a 16 month old little girl and a wonderful and supportive husband. Oh, I can't forget my little maltese puppy. I'm not banded yet, but I hope I will be soon. I am doing my 6 month diet now for my ins. I hope everyone is doing GREAT with their weight lose! I can't wait to join you.
  3. I've read it, but I didn't learn anything new. It's an easy read. I'm sure I'll refer back to it after my surgery. Tonya
  4. Thanks Kat! I'm starting out at 275 and would like to go to 150-160. I feel like I can do this, especially with the help of this board! Thank God I found this site.
  5. I have been reading post for a few weeks. This is a GREAT site! I really need the kind of encouragement that everyone gives. I think that the band is a great tool and that it's really what I need. I met with a surgeon a few days ago and he's really great. I really am excited about the weight loss and health benefits but I'm scared. What if I can't do it? I know it is about changing habits, but I thought I had done that before only to fall back into the same routine. I do tend to think about things too much. Right now I have to do a 6 month Dr. supervised thing for my ins. so I have too much time to think. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. :nervous
