elcee got a reaction from FluffySaysForkIt! in OOTD
Cant believe that I'm wearing a body suit! Or that this skirt that I have been dying to get back into for ages is now too loose

Thanks. The skirt is a favourite that I picked up years ago at a charity shop.

elcee got a reaction from imtired in Can't stop losing weight
BTW I am in the same sort of position as you but I figure it will stop at some point. My loss is very slow now, a couple of 100grams every month or so. The fear is that if I add in too much food I will start regaining which I don't really want to do.

I have just run your numbers through a BMI calc ( yes I know some people hate them) and according to that your BMI is 21.1 which is still well within the healthy range. Therefore I wouldn’t stress too much at this point.
I would suggest adding back in healthy fats. Things likes nuts, seeds and avocados. Also use higher fat versions of dairy.
I often think that people worry that they are too skinny when they are in fact healthy because these days we are more used to seeing overweight people .

elcee got a reaction from ProudGrammy in Malnutrition Diagnosis?
I haven't misunderstood , I was just highlighting that when a person thinks about various possibilities in their mind the mind has a habit of selecting the worst possible scenario. I myself have done that many times when I have had blood tests and the Dr has called me back in, I find i always think its something awful and it tends to be something as simple as low Iron ( which they could have told me over the phone).
Good luck at your app, let us know what the Doc says

I would avoid trying to figure it out yourself otherwise in your mind you might end up 6ft under pushing up daisies.
Best to make a Dr app and go and find out from a professional

elcee got a reaction from ProudGrammy in Stricture, TPN, Wound Vac... what next?
Wow that’s a heap of bad stuff all in one go. Hopefully it’s all behind you now and you can move forward into a new healthy life

elcee got a reaction from ProudGrammy in what are the most common reasons people get their band removed?
Regain.
Slippage
Reflux
Erosion
Poor diet
Oesophageal failure
My surgeon told me that the average life span is approx 10 years. That eventually they all fail or cause issues. One of the disturbing things they are finding is the increase in oesophageal failure caused by the oesophagus having to work so hard to push food through. Also years of reflux can lead to cancer.
