Help ?
It could be the start of alopecia. It could be due to a fungal infection or psoriasis. It could even be from chemicals used processing your hair. As msmaui say's, it is best to have it checked out by the dermatologist.

chips??
Depends on if you want to lose weight. If you want to lose then avoid the chips. If you don't then feel free to eat as many as you want. Remember there is no LapBand God that say's you can eat this or can't eat that. It is up to you to make smart choices.

Even after losing weight. Why do i still look and feel fat?
I identify with this 100%. I had people telling me how thin I was and I couldn't see it. Yes I had(still have) skinny legs but surely they could see how much fat I still had around my stomach, back etc. I have regained a couple of kilos and still get called skinny , which I am not and no I'm not in denial but compared to most people my age I suppose I am. But there is 1 advantage to the couple of extra kilos - my face looks better. At my lowest weight I had big bags under my eyes and I was starting to consider fillers etc but now I don't think they are needed(at least not for a couple more years). I would love to lose again but I probably don't need to which could be why i am finding it so hard. I think the media has so much to answer for.We no longer know what a normal healthy body should look like as we only get images of models that are super slim with no saggy bits and superflat stomachs no matter how old they are.

protein shakes with water????
The ones I used had to be mixed with water. Most have some kind of "milk" powder in them already and yes it is because of calories. It might be hard but the preop is only a short period of time, best to suck it up and just get on with it, it will be over before you know it.

She should be made to pay the money back.

What to eat when eating out???
To me chicken and fish, that I have not cooked myself, tend to be a bit risky. They can be dry and get stuck easily so although preband they may have been the ideal diet food ,post band they are not. I would choose a Pasta dish - a starter sized serve of canneloni or lasagne or something with a tomato based sauce. They are less likely to get stuck which to me is more important when eating out than choosing the lowest calorie food. Dieting successfully is about what you do 90% of the time. So going out and occasionally having something that may be less than ideal does not hurt.

Green zone question
How much food and how long it keeps you satisfied is actually debatable. I have never used a cup measure for my food so i have no idea how much i eat.It could be a cup, it could be more, it could be less. Somedays that will keep me satisfied for 3 - 4 hours, somedays it will be less. A lot of it depends on what you eat. Some foods satisfy you for longer than others. I don't think I ever hit the green zone or it least not in the way I expected it to be from hearing other people talk about it. But what did happen is that I ate smaller portions, i didn't feel the urge to keep snacking( although 4 years out that urge is raising it's ugly head with a vengeance), I lost all the weight I needed to and I didn't feel deprived or as though i was on a diet.

Ivy is not defending her friend. It is pretty obvious that Ivy is just another one of her aliases.

Got stuck
Thankyou. The risks from anaesthesia are high. The risks of perforating the stomach at the junction where the item is stuck are high. The risks of a recurrence are high as no Fluid has been removed. This is why I find it hard to believe that an experienced surgeon would solve the problem this way. In fact the only benefit I can see here is that the surgeon would be able to charge a lot more for the procedure than he would by doing a simple unfill.

She is a band hater. Since she has had problems she has found her calling. It is now her mission to ensure that as many people as possible know how bad the awful band is so that they don't get one. She seems to think , and wants to convince others, that it is far better to get some form of surgery that has a high complication rate(including death) up front, than to go with the band that has a low up front complication rate but may have some (usually non life threatening) complications at a later point.

Surgical Extraction
All sounds very strange and unbelievable.

Got stuck
Put you under and pushed it through? Weird! Surely all your Dr needed to do was an unfill. Makes one wonder how experienced the Dr is if that is how he resolves things. All sounds rather strange to me.

idiot- and stuck?
Guzzle a fizzy drink - it can work like a drain cleaner. I have never tried it but have heard it works. NB. Only do close to a toilet as it should make everything come back up. Suck crushed ice. It helps to reduce swelling so can help to eventually move the object. You have to be patient . It does not work straight away. Some people swear by pineapple juice, others by papaya enzymes. Neither have worked for me. Stick a toothbrush down your throat and see if you can bring the rest of the stuck object back up.

Size 8 Here I Am!
Are you sure you are in the right size. Those clothes look baggy, you could probably fit into something smaller! Well done.

Help
I think the best thing to do is to give us a typical days diet ( an honest 1 not an ideal 1) and to tell us how much exercise you are doing. That will help us to help you.

Tanning?
"Tanning is skin cells in trauma" Better off aiming for that milky white skin, it's far healthier. Remember. Slip, slop, slap, seek shade.

Tired
Love the description

eating disorders
No I was never a binge eater. My problem is constant grazing. This is actually harder to "fix" with the band although the band does help a lot by taking away some of the hunger.

Very surprising NSV today!!
I have had a number of occasions where neighbours didn't recognise me.

i survived Easter lunch at my mom's house!!! yay!!!
Well done to you for sticking to your plan. Not sure why you didn't just eat some of your Mum's food. A slice or 2 of meat, some peas, salad and a small spoon of mash (so long as you are not low carbing) would have been fine.
