I found this forum a few weeks ago when I was contemplating the procedure. Well I went to a seminar at True Results in San Antonio March 5th and decided to do it!! My insurance is BCBS of Illinois and they require a 6 month weight management program which I can do through True Results. I also have to do the nutrition consult (not covered by insurance), psych eval, sleep study and chest x-ray but I don't mind if it gets me to my goal. The best thing about my insurance is my out of pocket cost... $500, that's it! I know a few others who have done it and they had to cover from $1,000 to $2,500 so I'm super happy So I have to wait 6 month but at least that will be more money in my pocket for my new wardrobe Anyway, I hope to make some new friends here and can't wait to lost the weight...
