Haven't heard from you lately , how are you doing? I am down 18.5 lbs. officially from the doctor's office. They have lifted my food restrictions...YEAH!!! Hope all is well.

Hi! I was banded on the 19th, too. I went back to work yesterday, and I am really thinking I screwed up! Oh well. i just wanted to wish you luck!

My insurance would not cover the procedure, so I had to direct pay! The good news about that is I didn't have to jump through att those hoops! I had lost about 5lbs before the surgery, on the slimfast diet he made me follow for 2 weeks. I will weight on Monday at school and see where I stand so far.

I am a teacher! I teach 7th and 8th graders. I didn't really tell my principal what kind of surgery I was having. I am planning on returning to work on Monday - surgery was this Thursday. I really gained my weight over the last 20 years, since I got married and had my kids. My students will be super about it! Because I teach 7th and 8th, my students will be there with me next year, too. So they should really see the difference.
