Beans anyone?
I can tolerate wine pretty well, but the 1st time I had it I was a drunk as a scunk on 1 glass. However I persevered and am back to normal, but I am much more a light weight now. It depends if you want to risk the extra calories and the possibility of dependancy transfer. I know I will always have to watch the booze, have it as a fun thing rather than a way of life if you get my drift. Jane x PS Part Red Indian is cool!!!

Beans anyone?
Hi BJean, I think all their wildlife is scary, but I have never dived there before. Oz is on the opposite side of the globe to us so I think its very long haul, but I have always wanted to go. Jane x

Beans anyone?
Scuba diving is great, really recommend it. I learnt on my honeymoon a million years ago and had to stop because of the weight and fitness issues. I have dived since the op and it was fine. Am looking forward to doing the great Barrier reef in Austarlia this Christmas, fingers crossed. Jane x

Sometimes you need to eat more calories to lose more weight, if it's too low your body goes into conservation starvation mode. Jane x

Hi Globie, make sure you have a lunch hour and walk round the shops. To be honest the not eating much is far more effective for losing weight than the exercise thing, for me at least. I was lucky in the last job, the kitchen was upstairs and I worked downstairs and as I have to have at least one cup of tea an hour I got plenty of stairmaster type activity. Before the op I was a workaholic but now I am a bloody skiver, I really don't know if my work ethic will ever come back. I keep trying to persuade DH that I am old enough to retire but he's not buying it. We have the twins to fund through Uni and the house to rebuild so I guess I will have to keep on flogging these old bones. Jane x
