Allles gut. I am fine, but very embarrassed that I still have Globies tom yum Soup sitting in my lounge as our post office doesn't know where to actually send it! Which is pants as we are right next to Halton camp in Buckinghamshire and they should be able to deal with this. Globie, by the time I get this stuff to you which is wrapped etc you will be a 7 stone waife!!! Still basically thin and a bit of a piss head, I have reverted to form tbh, kids off at uni, working hard and partying whilst we still can. So all normal really! Really happy with the outcome, still concerned about the others following through and still happy to give support. It does work people, you will get your life back. Congrats. I had the laser eye treatment for short sight and astigmatism nearly 15 years ago now and I still don't need glasses. I don't have 20/20 vision because of the astigmatism that gradually comes back to some extent but it's good enough. Sometimes I feel like a marvel of late 20th/early 21st century medicine!!! That and the VSG. No cosmetics yet and I am not sure I will bother as I am alrerady nearly 53 and whatever I do I will still be wrinkly. Luckily I don't have major problems with excess skin. Jane x

My surgeon aims to give you a capacity between 125cc and 150cc. this has worked for me. Jane x

Bill, great news. There are a few of us now who have done the journey and are just getting on with life after weight loss. I am one and I cannot recommend VSG too highly. I have no difficulty maintaining and these days I forget I ever had anything done!! I still want to talk to seriously overweight people about the op though, because they remind me how unhappy I was before, and I hate the idea of anyone else having that nightmare when there is a solution. OK, I have a confession to make. The shakeweight is lying on the bedroom floor and i don't know where the instructyion CD has gone as the house is like a building site as my dear husband suggested reworking the lounge and our ensuit bathroom 3 months ago and of course they will be finished for Christmas etc etc... Well I didn't pin him down to any specific year, silly me, so it's not but I am assured it will be done by end Jan, yeah, right. But basically I have not used the shakeweight since the 1st week. I have started kick boxing once a week though and that is helping the arms alot. Jane x

Fill yourself up with roast chicken or beef and you wont be able to get the bad stuff in. Protein stays in place for ages, try an Atkins regine it will work, it did for me. Jane x

I guess I am lucky because the surgery completely broke my bad eating patterns into a million pieces. My tastes are completely different and I don't like carbs much any more. I think its in the lap of the Gods how your body responds to this procedure, so good luck. Jane x
