  1. Acadia, thanks a lot for the post, I never looked at potato chips like that before but you are right. I going to just drink tea, lemonade and eat soup for the next few days and let the swelling go down. If you have any tips for foods for me to eat once swelling goes down please let me know, I need all the help and support I can get because I have none at home. My husband does not know that I got a fill because he said that the lap band just makes me sick so I'm trying to hide it from him.
  2. Thank you, have have been drinking hot tea and im about to go get me some soup, but science I have been drinking the tea it feels a lot better.. I know I need to stop pushing the limit but it's hard when everyone around me is eating everything under the sun. I'm going to start writing and reading more on the message board.   3. I had some problems and had to have all saline taken out, Tuesday got 2 cc fill ate some potato chips and it came back up mow my band hurts and I can't drink a lot how do I get swelling to go down?

  6. Hi, I was banded on March 27, I have lost 15 lbs since surgery. I don't like protein drinks so I have been eating baked chicken. My port area is still real sore I have a lot of scare tissue removed before they put my band on.
  7. Hieveryone; I'm from OHIO, and my surgery is Friday March 27, 2009 @7:30 a.m., I am on a 7 day liquid diet, I have not done any protein shakes what are some good ones?
  8. I don' really know a good name but my surgery date is March 27 @ 7:30 a.m. I have not told my family yet because they are against it, but I'm doing what I feel is right for me.
  9. I have been trying to get the lapband for about 5 years and my insurance co. kept turning me down. Husband's co. switched insurace, they approved me my surgery date is March 27, 2009. Before they approved me I started a new job. Have not told them about surgery I'm a PCT at hospital, can't ask for alot of time off work. I'm off for 5 days is that to soon to go back to work? Or what do I tell my job? Only been there 2 weeks?
