  1. I had my surgery 2/11/09 and had bought a case of the Isopure previously. I had three and that is enough. I can't even stand to look at the bottles without gagging. I will try the protein powder I had used before, which is not bad. I will try to find this Unjury.
  2. Hello: I am still trying to find my way around. Thank you to the people who responded yesterday. I will take some time today to read the directions to this site - after I stop crying and feeling sorry for myself! I thought the time between the operation and the first fill was when the band was totally open. However, I feel as if a golf ball is stuck in my throat. Is this normal? I have not deviated from the post op diet except to eat some yogurt yesterday because I mixed it with my blood pressure meds - per nurse instructions. I need to take my anti-depressant to regulate the crying jags, however, am afraid to try. I am hoping to return the case of Isopure that I purchased as I can't even look at th bottles without gagging. I will use the powder mixed with water or (yea) skim milk as of today. Thank you for your help.
  3. Hello: This is a new one for me! I have never blogged before, and I sure don't know what a "thread" is. Three days post op and I so wish I hadn't had this done. For some reason, I again think I could have done it on my own, even though I failed hundreds of times. I really didn't expect to feel this badly. I am trying desperately not to hate these beautifully colored Isopure protein drinks as I know I have to drink them. My doctor said I wouldn't want to eat - he was soooo wrong. Glad I took 8 days off work as I think I will need every day to recover. I'm weepy and feeling sorry for myself. I wish I knew someone that had had this done, but I don't. Well, on to reading what others say, hopefully, I will get some inspiration - sorry my note is such a downer.
